Response: Hope you're doing all right after this past week! HUGS! Thanks for the kind feedback and letting me know I'm not alone, drowning in projects (since I sent that swap letter, I've added a 7-chapter short story to my list as well LOL). It's a photo of Troy in his natural habitat. And thanks for the suggestion!
Response: Whew! I felt through so many bags, and I was 99% confident it was Groot, but I am very glad to hear I was right! He was the only Groot left in the box, I think! I'm glad you like your package :-)
Response: YAY! I'm so glad that you like everything and that John will be able to keep Sherlock company now :-)
Response: Aw, thanks! I hope you like it when you do open it!
Response: Whoohoo! I loved the extra challenge of finding/making some owl-related Avengers items. I'm so pleased you like them! And I'm glad you liked everything, including little Thor :-)
Response: Yay! I'm so very thrilled you like everything! I would have mailed it sooner, but was waiting on the okay from my coworker to include her campaign (didn't want to put in her creation without her approval). Have fun gaming!
Response: Steal away! I've taken/modified some ideas for my current list and my next list from people in the group, too.
Response: Sorry I don't really knit/crochet. But, yes, I did make the notecards. They were fun!
Response: As soon as you posted that thing about the Itty Bitties, I immediately went to my local Hallmark store and got them--that was the last Hulk they had, so I'm glad I didn't wait! The bookmark idea came from Pinterest (theirs was much different of course, but I thought it was perfect to try the purple one for Fraction's Hawkeye). I'm so glad you like the package. I did have a lot of fun gathering/making things to put into it. In the end, it was hard to know when to just stop and send it out! My heart is warmed to know that you loved it so much!
Response: Yay! I had SUCH a hard time choosing which pop figure to buy at the store--they're all so cute! I finally just grabbed and hoped you liked it. And then I kept running into other awesome things I couldn't resist, like the mini lunchbox/tin and then the Cap eraser (so cute!). I'm glad you liked everything!!
Response: Thanks! I feel like I have so many more things to do and not enough time. Yikes! I could maybe use another year. LOL
Response: And here I was worried that it was too much Scotland and not enough Outlander specifically. I really hope you like the Steve McDonald CD (let me know) as he really is my favorite; I've bought all his albums. And I'm so glad you (& your family) will enjoy the bag! I share my love of Outlander with my mother as well, though she's all caught up on the books and I'm a few behind.
Response: Though the Clone Trooper Pez was a little bit of a stretch, it was too cute to not send (even if you already had one, because you can't have too many of those). Am so glad you liked all the bag goodies. I am thrilled you liked my book recs; I had worried that was a little too off theme :-)
Response: I've got the movie near the top of my Netflix queue. Can't wait to see what they do with the story! Thanks for reading!
Response: I'm so glad you like it! I was nervous you might not. Whew!
Response: I took a few liberties, stretching the theme a bit more than maybe I should. But Winter = snow & ice, right? Totally made sense to put in some ice fun :-)
Response: Wasn't that neat? Some people are just amazingly creative. Thanks for rating & the heart!
Response: Do iiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiit! heehee One of the things I love about SPN is that they acknowledge slash--one of their episodes is even called "Slash Fiction." heehee Glad you got a kick out of my answers! :-)
Response: Thank you! It was difficult to find what I wanted at first, but I'm happy with what I finally came up with :-)
Response: Oh, I'm so glad you liked it! I had three friends help me collect take out menus for the organizer, only to find that most of them were too large for the organizer! Oops! I bought a black one I was going to decorate, but then I saw this one all glittery and it just screamed Lorelai. I left the dividers unlabeled in case you wanted to organize it differently based on the take out places near you. But I definitely had fun making Luke's menu and gathering things with a GG feel to them :-) I'm glad you liked it and found it fun & useful too!
Response: I'm so happy you liked it (especially Bowser--isn't he adorable?) ! I was worried you might be getting bored receiving from me over and over. I had fun putting it together for you :-)
Response: You made it challenging for me, as I am pretty sure I sent to you for a previous Firefly swap! But it was fun coming up with new things to make and find. So glad you didn't already have that comic (I was on the fence about sending it, because I thought maybe you'd already read it; looks like I made the right call in sending). I'll let my friend know that his necklace was a hit (I think I remembered to include his etsy store card?). I bought his Rose/Bad Wolf Doctor Who necklace in the same style for myself last year and love it (though I never remember which beads go to which episodes without the chart, heehee). So glad you liked the package!
Response: Catwoman was easy to identify because of the whip (just had to make sure it wasn't Wonder Woman's lasso). Harley's hat made her easy to identify (I got one for myself as well). I wasn't 100% sure that was the Joker though because I couldn't feel a card in his hand. But I thought that I was feeling the two little points of his hair in the front, and I'm glad I guessed right and that it wasn't Hawk Girl :-) Couldn't have Harley without her Mr. J! I've been having a kind of rough time this past week, too, so your comment makes me super happy! I'm glad you liked it and that it came at a time when it could give you some smiles. Oh, and that was my first time making an ATC for 12. I haven't seen many of his episodes yet, so I had a time trying to figure out a good quote to put on it :-)
Response: Oh wow! Haha! Guess I wasn't as creative & original as I thought. LOL Glad you enjoyed my letters!
Response: All I knew going in was that people hated the ending. So I didn't have any other expectations or info; I didn't know what about it people hated so much. Sorry you didn't like it! I don't like when books disappoint us. Also, the crying is my own fault; I know stories about the Titanic or the Holocaust will make me cry, but I read them anyway. I'm always glad I did, but it's an emotional journey to get to the end.
Response: Earread is just so much easier to say than "listened to books on audio" don't you think? Glad you enjoyed my brief comments. It's fun to revisit my whole month of reading in these logs :-) Thanks for reading!
Response: Oh, I'm so relieved that the chocolates didn't all melt in the mail! I'd hoped October was cold enough! I'm glad you enjoyed the whole package :-)
Response: I LOVE THOSE ADDRESS LABELS! They're some of my favorite address labels ever and I'm bummed I'm almost out of them. I made some of my own that look similar... but just not the same. Thank you again for them! :-)
Response: Thanks! Sorry for envelope snafoo--nice to have you as a partner for both swaps, though! Glad you enjoyed looking at my maps. Other swap partners I've had are MUCH more diverse in their book settings, so I'm trying to branch out a little more :-)
Response: I definitely recommend The Cuckoo's Calling (the first in JKR's new series) over The Silkworm. Much less disturbing imagery! :-) Thanks for the rating!
Response: Thanks! There's definitely something attractive about guys who read :-)
Response: Thank you! It's hard finding things that match my interests on that site, but it was a fun first board to make.
Response: Oh no! Sorry to add to your TBR! heehee But I'm glad you enjoyed reading through my answers. Wasn't that book cover so gorgeous? I'm never going to read that book, so I'll have to send it to a friend who'll enjoy the art as well :-)
Response: I'm so glad you liked it :-) Thanks for the rating. I would love to hear back from you; of course that's all right. I'm historically pretty bad at keeping penpals, but I would definitely love to hear from you about yourself and your path!
Response: Oh, I'm so glad you liked it! It helped that you like a lot of my favorite characters too :-) Enjoy!
Response: Oh, I think we have a few similarities! I look forward to reading your survey responses; thanks for reading mine. Sorry again for the brainfart where I sent it electronically at first. I'm still kicking myself for that. LOL
Response: I'll definitely be posting lots of photos on my blog when it's all done. Right now there are more books on the floor and in boxes in the center of the room than on the bookcases! Thanks for taking a look at my boards. I'm glad you found some pins you like! :-)
Response: Sorry! I obviously knew you moved, so I should have made sure I was using the correct one. I will send new labels your way this week.
Response: Okay, that's spooky. I was just hitting submit in rating my partner for this swap when I got the email saying I'd been rated for this swap. What timing! heehee I'm glad you liked the ATCs!
Response: I'm so glad you liked it! I splurged on that TARDIS. I probably stood staring at it at the store for 20 minutes before I finally bought it; now I'm glad I did. You said you didn't have too much in the way of merch and no DW fan should be without a TARDIS and a sonic screwdriver!
Response: Thanks! I've tried a few of the gift wrapping ideas--Pinterest is the gift that keeps giving :-) Thanks for rating and heart!
Response: Thanks for the kind words and the heart. I'm glad you had some fun looking through my boards. It's fun in swaps like this to look for common interests and inspiration for new boards. Enjoy & happy pinning! :-)
Response: Oh, I'm so happy! Like I said, I joined this swap for my dad, so I was worried I'd get something wrong, as it isn't one of my fandoms. I'm so glad both packages arrives safely and that you like it. I'm thrilled and relieved! (Watch out for that dragon egg thief! LOL)
Response: Thanks for taking a look at my writing space and for the heart! :-)
Response: I stole the idea to walk to Mordor from one of the swappers in my 101 Things in 1001 Days swap-bot group who is doing it as one of her goals; it sounds like fun, doesn't it? Also, your sister has good taste in characters! heehee Thanks for reading through the lists! I realized after I mailed it that I left one on my desk--oops! But I'd included more than 20 so I wasn't too worried. Anyway, thanks for reading them. (PS- I've never read a Nora Roberts book, but I included that one because my friends & I have an inside joke about her name popping up all over).
Response: Usually I only do TV & writing at the same time if I'm writing fanfiction based on that show. Then it's excellent inspiration. Sometimes I put on movies I've seen a hundred times just for background noise. As for coffee, my tummy doesn't like it, so I can't drink it. I must make my way as a writers without it! :-) I'm glad you enjoyed my photos of my space. Thanks for the quick rating!
Response: I thank you for reading... and so does Nik :-) Happy writing to you!
Response: I've kind of been obsessed with visiting that cottage since I learned about it a few years ago. Every Doctor Who episode, game, book, etc.? Yes please! heehee Thanks for following me. I'll have to check out your boards now! :-)
Response: It was fun scouting around for a Ravenclaw-ish dragon; I was lucky to find him! Glad everything made it in one piece (and un-erased). And I'm glad you liked it all! :-)
Response: The author's horrible views definitely turned me off. People kept telling me those didn't factor into the story and that I should read it. I'm glad I did just to be able to say I gave it a shot. But I don't plan on reading any more of his books. I wish I'd turned the audiobook off as soon as the story ended and not listened to the author's endnotes, though; talk about egotistical! Still, I really am glad I finally read it, for the exact reason you state--ending my own internal conflict about reading it.
Response: Well, you're new to the fandom. I wanted to make sure your first big swap in it was worthwhile! :-) Hope you enjoy it (and can read my sometimes-awful handwriting)
Response: You're welcome. Happy reading! I'm glad you enjoyed the postcard. I was thrilled when I drove by those streets in my parents' neighborhood. Great of them to finally put up signs so we Narnians can better find our way there :-)
Response: It's definitely a great way to better know your town (and it's fun taking photos of my Eeyore mascot at sites all over!) I'm astounded by some of the things people create with LEGO. I'm definitely not that good, but I have fun with it :-)
Response: Definitely keep moving! And keep it organized! Thanks for the rating & heart.
Response: I made what's on the envelope myself, with Microsoft Word shapes and clip art found online. I wanted it to look like it had been sent to him for his 11th birthday and had been bouncing around the mail since then, only just now getting to him :-)
Response: Yay! I'm glad it arrived intact :-) A few of the photos are from the Wizarding World of HP, one is from a tour I took of shooting locations (Lily & James' house from Godric's Holly), and the rest are from the HP Studio tour. Glad you liked it! Thanks for the heart :-)
Response: I'm thrilled you liked the package! I was so very nervous that I might have done it wrong. FYI, I was already reading the biography when the swap was posted and I finished reading just before sending the swap--it was excellent timing! Oh, as for the photos, you made me go back just now and look through all my photos again... and I found one that looks like the cover of the Jemima book! However did I miss that when I was sending photos to the store for printing? LOL http://i338.photobucket.com/albums/n427/KateKintail/IMG_0720_zpse9e72103.jpg Anyway, I'm especially happy you liked the photo album and the rest of the package as well. I hope it will all continue to bring smiles in the future.
Response: Oh excellent! I find everyone's lists and accomplishments so inspiring. I'm glad I could give you an idea! Are you starting your new list in Oct when you finish the current one or giving yourself a rest in-between? And thanks for the rating *hugs*
Response: Aw, you're welcome. Thank you so much for the kind comments! This was SUCH a fun swap. I loved the scavenger hunt format, trying to find things to fit into certain themes instead of just a bunch of BBC Sherlock-related items at random; somehow it made me look around harder. I bought the tattoos first and spotted the magnets on the day before I was planning on sending--what luck! They were too cute to resist. Anyway, I'm so very pleased to know you liked the package!
Response: I'm so glad the vortex manipulator went to a good home; I bought it for myself but almost kept it. Now you make me glad I sent it your way. I found the poster online, though I made a few copyedits to it. Anyway, I'm so pleased you like everything! :-)
Response: Thanks! I love crafts that are so versatile. I suspect I'll be making a lot more of these with different designs/themes for different swaps in the future!
Response: I agree--I get some of the best inspiration from other swapper's "to do/to make" boards! Thanks for the comment. Happy swapping & crafting!
Response: I DID like it--I loved it, in fact! So no worries. I'm also quite happy you liked what I sent you; I was so indecisive for so long that I'm relieved you liked it :-)
Response: I'm glad it got to you! I was starting to worry about it. Happy belated birthday :-)
Response: That's my favorite quote from my favorite TV show! Thrilled you liked it and the others. That's a great idea about what to do with all the happy we've been getting in this swap. I'm sure it will turn out nicely :-)
Response: Not a problem; you told me you'd be away on vacation. I'm glad the package made it to your safe & sound and that you enjoyed everything!
Response: Story of a Girl was definitely well done. Didn't blow my mind, but was definitely a good YA read. If you get to 11/22/63, let me know. I'm DYING to have someone to talk to about it and keep mentioning it to people in my life in hopes that one of them will read it. heehee! Two characters from It show up in the book, and I screamed out loud with happiness several times. LOL
Response: Oh, I'm so glad. I was so indecisive about what to include. I'm glad you liked everything. I definitely wanted it to be full of goodies. And it was nice to have an excuse to focus more on Dean ;-)
Response: I didn't like book 2 in the trilogy as much as book 3 (and I liked book 1 best). But I think it's a nice series that explores more of the concept throughout. Definitely some interesting twists & turns and some new characters. If you read them, let me know what you thought!
Response: And here I was worried I'd put in too many animal ones (I went looking specifically for some non-animal ones, just in case not everyone was an animal person). Those two were two of my favorites though, so i'm glad you liked them and the rest and that they put a smile on your face this morning!
Response: LOL I needed a smile last night, so maybe I got just as much out of the activity as my partners did! :-) I'm glad you enjoyed the happy and the colors!
Response: I actually have that LEGO figure (she's adorable in real life too) so she definitely had to make the list. I totally agree with you about seeing all the different boards. Everyone found such neat/different things!
Response: Thank you, though I feel like the days were going to get there whether I worked on the goals or not LOL. But here's to another productive 500!
Response: I'm glad it arrived! I was starting to worry that maybe it got lost in the mail.
Response: I'm so glad it made it! I was starting to get worried about it. I definitely got carried away with it, but that's what happens with fandoms I love! heehee I'm happy you enjoyed it :-)
Response: Oh yay! I'm relieved it finally arrived. Happy April Birthday to you! :-)
Response: Apart from the main character trying to find a place for herself in a society that seems to have no place for her, there is definitely an interesting undercurrent of women's rights and early feminist/women's suffrage movement themes. The book is largely focused on the culture (or lackthereof) of the lesbian community during the Victorian era, though, as told through Nan's personal journey through several different jobs (everything from being a celebrity actress to being down & out and having to sleep in a shelter). It was a great book, but I definitely went into it with a bias as i'd seen & liked the series :-)
Response: Sorry for the early spoilers! heehee Thanks for reading! It was definitely a good month for me. I've got a lot of books I MUST read for April. Here's hoping that's as good a month for me :-)
Response: Aw, thank you! It's comments like this that REALLY help me stay on top of my goals. Thanks! *hugs*
Response: Thanks! I've found putting it in a savings account like INGDirect helps because transferring money into my main account is harder and takes some time to do. Good luck with your goals!
Response: I've finished the first season and I really like it. The main characters are likable and there's a good balance of mystery, info, and drama. I'm interested to see where it goes in season 2 now that the big mystery of season 1 has been solved!
Response: I don't think I'd sent it to you yet, so you might have rated me instead of your other partner. But I have done so now.
Response: Glad it reached you safe & sound. I hope that you like everything! It was quite a challenge for me, but I had fun with it.
Response: I don't remember where I came across it... possibly through my local LUG's yahoo discussion group? Or maybe a friend sent me the link? I don't really remember, but I am glad now I didn't forget to search around to find it. Isn't that incredible? I can't even imagine what it takes to design something like that! People are so clever. Yay for being inspired by other builders!
Response: Great! It was a little tricky as I hadn't read either of the books for both partners, so I'm glad I wasn't off the mark. The Night Circus has such beautiful imagery; I wanted to stick with the black backgrounds on all of them, but that one drawing was just too pretty. The credit for that one goes to http://kittygrimm.tumblr.com/ by the way. Anyway, I had a difficult time choosing, so I'm glad you liked the ones I finally went with :-) What a fun swap!
Response: I'm in Northern Virginia, so close enough to get to the Faire once a season (though I missed it this and last year due to health probs). Am glad you liked it; this was a fun swap :-)
Response: You're welcome! I hope you weren't too disappointed it wasn't a VHS tape! (How did I even have that box still lying about? heehee) I'm glad you like the little guy. Let me know what you name him!
Response: Oh, I'm glad it made it to you safely. It shocked me when I went to pay for the shipping. Meep! But I guess it was heavier than I thought it was. I hope it's a good read! :-)
Response: I went to the mountains a few years ago, but didn't make it to the Blue Ridge Parkway that time. The last time I was there was probably... 21 years ago! I look forward to seeing it again, so I put it on my list. Here's hoping! Thanks for the kind words about the goals and the LEGO castle! Much appreciated :-)
Response: Usually I'll only read outside my fandoms if it's an author I already know and love (read: trust) or if it's a genre I particularly love (read: hurt/comfort). I really have discovered some great fandoms that way, though. Yay for fanfic! I'm glad you enjoyed my letter :-) It was fun rambling on and on about one of my favorite subjects! Thanks for reading.
Response: OOPS! I used last time's list. I spot checked but didn't realize the two lists weren't identical! Silly me. I'll have to re-send! Thanks for letting me know :-)
Okay, resent. Thanks for letting me read your answer to that question. I always feel guilty taking a book home with me and not reading it. Poor little book! :-)
Response: Thanks for reading it. Yeah, I liked the Infernal Devices series much more than the Mortal Instruments series, though the 5th book make MI start getting good again, so I have high hopes for book 6!
Response: WOW. I only sent them media mail yesterday. Good job, USPS workers! heehee Helps that we live so close, I suspect, but still, I'm impressed. I hope you enjoy them! And the National Book Festival is a whole lot of fun!
Response: Aw, and I thought for certain I was the last person on Earth left who hadn't read that book!
Response: I'm so thrilled you're enjoying the group and that you liked everything. I had something in mind for the book but it lent itself to a matchbook box so much better than my original idea/attempt. I'm happy you liked it! :-)
Response: I'm glad you liked it! What a fun idea for an ATC. Xanthe's fanfic is online and her first book can be ordered for an ereader or as a paper copy from Amazon. Info: http://www.xanthe.org/
Response: Thanks for reading and rating! I did like that twist as well. And glad to know you liked the whole trilogy. I'll definitely have to track the second book down when I'm done with the ones I'm reading now. Why did all my holds at the library come in at the same time? Gah! I wish I read faster! :-)
Response: Yay! I'm so glad you liked it! :-)
Response: Wonderful! I'm glad I made the right choice then! Sometimes the Friends sets have some really neat, unique pieces :-) And, hey, glad I sent you something you didn't already have! Happy building!
Response: I'm glad that you enjoyed it :-) It was fun jumping back a few generations and playing with characters I'd only made mention of in other stories. Thanks for the interesting prompt words!
Response: I'm so glad you liked everything! It was a fun swap to put together :-) It was fun to walk the fine line between Harry Potter items meant for a swapper and magical items meant for Harry--it was fun trying to think up items that would work for both! I'm glad you'll be able to put some of it to good use!
Response: Hey, no worries. I'm just glad it wasn't lost in the mail! I'm glad you enjoyed the lists and that there were some familiar faces and some you have yet to meet in books :-) Happy reading!
Response: I'm so glad it reached you (it was international, but I was still getting a little worried). I had fun putting together all the items, so I'm glad you enjoyed them :-)
Response: Thanks! I'm glad you enjoyed the photos of my collections. The WWofHP is definitely a great place to visit. I had a 4-day pass to Universal Studios and I spent 3.5 days just in the Wizarding World!
Response: I'm so pleased you liked them! I hope you find them useful in future WWOZ swaps :-)
Response: Glad you liked them. You picked some great photos for me; I was worried my choices weren't as exciting. It was fun trying to find some quotes from each that sort of fit together as well.
Response: Wonderful! I'm so glad you liked it all! I went crazy trying to find a box the right size--the place where I usually buy them stopped carrying them and I freaked out a little (I don't like change! lol). And I'm thrilled that the address labels came at a great time too. Yay!
Response: It's all about space management... and buying a three-story house ;-) Thanks for the rating + heart!
Response: Glad you liked it. It was lots of fun to make :-)
Response: Well, I'm glad I put two books on the postcard, as you'd already read one of them! So great to know there's another fan of Everyday (I seriously recommend it to everyone who's a human being lol). Am glad you liked the postcard--I just made them last month :-)
Response: I thought you might get a kick out of the Eeyores. Thanks for your enthusiastic comment. I'm glad you enjoyed it all :-)
Response: Thanks for reading & rating!
Response: LOL Three stories of house :-) But it's all about the organizing. Thanks for reading and for the rating and heart!
Response: I was indecisive for a while about how best to keep my ATCs. I had them in little collector boxes for a while, but a few ATCs were took thick or too tall. Binders give me more flexibility and I can arrange & rearrange however I like. Right now I have one for fandom series (shows/movies) and one binder for one-off or artistic cards. Thanks for reading and for the heart!
Response: Oh good! I'm glad you weren't disappointed to have two done in the same style :-) And it's great the sleeves came at such a good time!
Response: I'm glad you liked it. The 101 Dalmatians book was especially fun to put together; I saved the document with all the facts in case I want to make myself one :-) I also had a lot of fun making the little cards-wish I could have done even more Disney villains that way. Anyway, enjoy all the goodies!
Response: I'm so glad you liked the package and that my life wasn't too boring for you! I saw the mini comp books at the store and just knew I had to do something with them. For a fandom-related drive to help the victims of the Tsunami a few years ago I put together a similar package every day for an entire year of my life! It's been a while since then and this felt like a throw-back. Great to make a new fangirl friend on here! (PS- you and my sister have the same first name; there's another coincidence).
Response: Always great to hear from you! *hugs* It's amazing how many places around here I've never been, even though I've lived in Northern VA since 1986! Thanks for reading & for the rating.
Response: Thanks! I keep missing the sign-ups for the rest of the series, but at least I got the first one done! Glad you liked it.
Response: Thanks so much! I was happy to get it. Getting rid of 100 things--you're inspiring! :-) Thanks for the rating & for sending!
Response: Absolutely! Thanks for reading & rating :-)
Response: Glad you enjoyed the read :-) Thanks for the heart!
Response: I feel very productive for June! Really, it was just that I was so close to finishing so many and the timing worked out so I finished them all in June ;-) Happy reading to you!
Response: You can always wait until the tv series comes out! ;-)
Response: Thanks! These swaps are really helping me stay on top of my book reviews each month (I used to really fall behind). Plus it's SO much fun to see what other people have read. Thanks for the warning about Insurgent!
Response: Thanks! Every year during my birthday week I do a "Week in the life" and take 5-8 photos a day for a week. Then I can compare them year to year. That's been a fun project. The 365 one is making me nervous--it only takes one day for me to destroy all the progress I've made! Meep! But a month of self portraits sounds like a great project too!
Response: Oh, I'm glad you liked it! It was so much fun to make! Makes me want to plug in my old Nintendo and play!
Response: I'm glad you enjoyed reading it. It was a fun sharing swap!
Response: Thank you! I'm glad you liked him. So great to know there are others out there who like this movie too!
Response: The animated Batman Beyond? I haven't seen it yet, but now I'll definitely track it down; thanks for the recommendation. I'm glad you liked the ATC!
Response: Thanks. Yeah, once I decided on the look, I sat down and did the first three in the series all at once. So I was just waiting for partners to be assigned! I'm glad you like it!
Response: Absolutely :-) Thanks for reading & hosting!
Response: Thanks for reading and for rating. Happy swapping!
Response: heehee Thanks! :-)
Response: You're welcome. Thanks for rating! :-)
Response: When I first saw "Hi James" for one brief moment I thought that you were leaving a rating for the wrong person *facepalm* Apparently I haven't trained myself properly yet. Thanks for making me laugh as well! Am glad you enjoyed the letter :-)
Response: Go Hawks! Given the state in which you live, I thought that might be who you were supporting--gotta love those victory laps on the ice! I'm glad you liked the ATC, which might be the closest I come to seeing the cup ever (c'mon, Caps! heehee).I totally know what you mean about having a hard time watching--when my boys are playing, I get super nervous. Thank goodness for my ability to craft while watching hockey. Here's to a great season with an especially great ending!
Response: As it's the first time we've done this swap, I wasn't sure how long to make the reading period. I thought more than a month was a safe bet, though I ended up earreading mine and got through it much faster than I'd expected. Happy reading to you--hope you've got a good one :-)
Response: Thank you! It was a little tricky trying to get the books to be the correct size, but I'm glad you liked the result!
Response: So great to know there are so many Winnie-the-Pooh lovers out there! :-)
Response: You're so welcome. i'm glad you liked them!
Response: You're welcome. Thanks for the rating + heart! :-)
Response: Aw, thank you! What a sweet comment. *hugs*
Response: Thanks for reading my review; I hope you found it useful. And I'm glad that you enjoyed the prompt response! I think I must have been channeling Poe a little ;-)
Response: I'm SO very glad you liked it and that the wings made it safely through the mail (you've no idea how worried I was about that). I had a lot of fun with this swap :-)
Response: Thanks for rating. I'm glad you enjoyed the writing prompt response as well! None of mine have turned out quite that well so far, but I've got about 345 left so....
Response: Thanks so much! It's definitely been a rocky few weeks, but things are looking up. Slow and steady progress is better than none at all, right?
Response: Oh I'm so glad! I was worried about the packaging/shipping, so I'm glad everything arrived safe and sound and most of all that you like it! Yay! I'm so happy to hear that :-)
Response: Yay! I am so glad you got a kick out of it. I went through a handful of different space ships before I decided on that one. He was a lot of fun to make. Happy reading!
Response: What wonderful timing; I wish I could say I planned it that way ;-) I'm so glad you enjoyed it all.
Response: You've sent me so many awesome packages, I wanted to be sure to return the favor (plus I had you as a partner last Star Trek in a Mini Bag swap, so I had fun trying to come up with some different things this time around). I'm so thrilled you like it all! :-)
Response: Sorry for sending a book you'd already read, but I'm glad it will find a good home! I'm glad you liked the package and hope you had fun with this swap! I definitely recommend anything by John Green (he co-wrote a book with the same author who wrote "Every Day") as well :-) Happy YA Reading!
Response: Slow and steady :-) Thanks for reading and for the encouragement!
Response: Whoohoo! Always great "meeting" other John Green fans :-) Thanks for reading my list this month!
Response: You're welcome. Thanks for reading and rating!
Response: I'm a Zane fan, so it was worth reading to see him again in that book. And I rather like Shay, so the concept was good. Some of the art choices just baffled me. Anyway, thanks for reading! :-)
Response: I'm so glad you like the ATC and the extras. Here's to a nice, FULL season of hockey starting in the fall!
Response: Glad you enjoyed reading :-)
Response: I'm so glad I was able to give you some things you didn't already have. Hope you have fun with them. And there can never be too many exclamation points! :-)
Response: Aw, thanks! I'm happy you liked it!
Response: Yay! I'm so glad you liked them! They were lots of fun to make :-)
Response: You're welcome! I'm glad they made it to you safe and sound. The bag was the first thing to pop into my mind when I saw the swap description. And I had lots of fun thinking up little things to make for each of the boxes. I'm happy you liked everything!
Response: You're welcome. I'm glad you liked the ATC. Looking forward to a new, full season of hockey!
Response: Boy, I'm behind on my responses--sorry! Thanks so much for the comment and kind words. Many of the books I BookCross aren't ones I've personally read; they're ones I've accumulated or bought in order to register them and watch them travel the world. So it's not quite so impressive :-)
Response: Oh, that's awesome! I love visiting places where authors were inspired to write; sometimes those places can surprise you! :-)
Response: Thanks for reading my list! Happy book reading to you! :-)
Response: I've heard of TableTop but haven't watched it yet--now I'm very excited to; thanks! It's great to hear some of your thoughts on books I listed, too. Happy reading to you!
Response: Thank you for participating. Here's to some future journaling fun!
Response: You're welcome. Thanks for the rating and heart!
Response: And here I am taking so long to respond; no worries! Thanks for rating and reading through my reading log!
Response: I hope that you enjoy it as much as I did!
Response: Boy, it took a long time to get to you! I was just worrying about it over the weekend--the shipping cost even more than the contents and I was worried I'd have to do it all over again if it got lost in the mail! But I'm glad it made it to you safe & sound. And I'm glad you liked it! It was so much fun to put together!
Response: I'm so behind in responses--sorry! I'm so glad that you liked your package. Hope you had fun with the games! :-)
Response: Thanks for rating and for the heart :-)
Response: Sorry for the belated response! Thanks for the encouragement and feedback about my formatting. I'm glad you enjoyed looking through some of my posts :-)
Response: Ewan on Top Gear was fantastic (though I bet he could have done the course it in half the time if he'd been on his bike!). I haven't seen the movies you mention though (I might have seen some of "Rocket" while flipping through channels one day, but definitely not the whole thing, so I didn't want to include it). Thanks for reading and for the recommendations! I'm glad you enjoyed it!
Response: Thanks LWB! Boy, I'm super behind in responding to comments. Thanks so much for reading through my list; I'm glad you found it interesting! I'm a little spoiled here in the DC area with so many free museums, but the NG Museum was definitely worth a visit, so I'm glad I finally gave myself an excuse to go!
Response: Oh YAY! I had a lot of fun with it, even if a few of my attempts at making things fell through. I can't wait to see what you come up with, but I can be patient :-)
Response: You're welcome! Glad you like them!
Response: Heehee! Glad you liked them! Curse your sudden but inevitable betrayal!
Response: You're welcome!
Response: heehee Enjoy :-)
Response: Curse your sudden by inevitable betrayal! heehee Glad you liked!
Response: I'm glad you enjoyed my choices and the variety. Thanks so much for swapping with me in this swap ;-)
Response: You're welcome. I'm glad you liked it. I might have to try this style out again some time :-)
Response: Thanks for reading my list; I hope you find something new to read!
Response: I'd certainly love to hear your thoughts if you end up reading any of them in the months/years to come. Happy reading!
Response: I'm so embarrassed that I got THIS behind in responding to rating comments. Especially as getting comments fills me with happy. I'm SO glad you liked your package of goodies. I'm also embarrassed to say I stood in the store for a good 5 minutes at least trying to remember the color of the shirts Wash wears, wanting to choose a duck that was as close to one of them as possible. Luckily, I chose correctly in the end. I'm glad you got a kick out of it ;-)
Response: I'm SO behind in responses. I'm SO sorry. But thank you so much for such great feedback! A daily email sounds like it would really help (I'm starting to get tired taking photos of the flowers outside my house LOL). Thanks for the encouragement and suggestion! Good luck with your things!
Response: Thanks for the rating. I hope you liked everything!
Response: You're welcome! I couldn't resist Centurion!Rory :-) heehee
Response: It was such a creative series, well-crafted from beginning to end. And who doesn't love a good perspicacious loris? heehee I'm glad you liked the list. Happy reading!!
Response: Awww, yay! Mission accomplished then! Probably the Doctor has better handwriting than I do, but I'm glad you liked it!
Response: You're welcome! They're definitely the DW baddies who scare me the most! But they don't have the phone box for long ;-)
Response: He DOES look happy! And your whole profile makes me happy! Thanks for a fun swap! <3
Response: Yay for spreading the DW love through clothing AND profiles! heehee
Response: It was an unusually productive month for me :-) Earreading audiobooks definitely makes me feel more productive, but my commute is only 15 minutes, so it's very short bursts at a time :-)
Response: YAY! Happy reading to you! :-)
Response: In my defense, I didn't realize how much of a series it was until l finished Volume 2. And then I just read in whatever order my holds at the library came in! It was hard reading Volume 1, knowing what was coming for the characters though! But still enjoyable. I listen to audiobooks in my car, but my commute is 15 minutes, so I make slow progress. I miss listening to them all day, too! I can only do that on data entry jobs. Thanks for reading my log and for the great comments!
Response: I really liked the first story and the alternate reality details... but the second story (last third of the book) wasn't as good as the first one. Definitely worth a try, I think! Thanks for reading my list! :-)
Response: Thanks! As of this morning... 32 pounds lost and 13 to go! I feel so much healthier too :-) Thanks for the rating & heart!
Response: Thanks! Just don't blink or stop looking at the ATC! heehee Glad you like it!
Response: I hope you find them to be useful in future swaps! DW FTW!
Response: And thank you for reading my answers and rating. :-)
Response: Aw, what great feedback! It was only my third time doing mail art and I was worried it might not make it in one piece. So YAY! Sorry for COMPLETELY flaking and forgetting to include a note explaining that the front was supposed to look like a box and the back like a 2x3 brick with 6 studs... but you probably figure that out yourself :-) I'm glad you liked it!
Response: You're welcome. Thanks for participating. I am glad you liked your envelope and address labels. I'm SO stupid and forgot to include the notes I wrote to y'all in your envelopes. But the front is obviously supposed to look like a box and the back like a 2x3 brick with 6 studs :-)
Response: Oh absolutely! I adore those songs; they make me remember some of my favorite moments from movies/musicals.
Response: Thanks! It's been a fun series working with that style. I'm glad you liked them!
Response: Thank YOU for reading/listening and rating so quickly.
Response: Absolutely right about the Dr. Seuss books! I loved visiting the Seuss world at Universal Studios a few years ago--it's like being in those books! And it's great to know I'm not the only person who gets easily distracted by new, shiny books *G*
Response: Thanks for reading and thanks for the heart!
Response: Thanks! The exercise really helped me brainstorm for the story! Am glad it seemed interesting :-)
Response: You're welcome. Glad you liked the cats!
Response: Thanks for the rating (I was worried maybe the mail had eaten it). Definitely make this the year you write your book! My problem is... two new stories just threw themselves at me. Ugh. Too many ideas and not enough time!
Response: Thanks for rating! I'll pass the compliment on to Maxwell too :-)
Response: You are awesome. Thanks for the great message. I'm glad you enjoyed reading about my worlds :-)
Response: I'm so glad you (all!) liked it!
Response: You're welcome! I struggled to find enough I liked for the list, so I'm glad you enjoyed reading it.
Response: Thanks so much. I feel a lot better too :-) I look forward to seeing your progress in the future!
Response: You're welcome. Have fun with it!
Response: Thanks so much for the comment. I hope March picks up for you as well. Having you all to be accountable to really helps me keep going!
Response: Thanks so much for the great encouragement!
Response: Oh wonderful! I had a fun time with the journal (my first time using a spiral-bound one instead of a composition notebook). I'm glad you enjoyed reading it!
Response: heehee! Seems like my partners were in the same boat as well. It's comforting to know many of us have the same blanks in our reading libraries :-)
Response: You're welcome! I'm glad you liked the images I chose :-)
Response: You're welcome! My parents' dog is a cairn terrier, like Toto, so I couldn't pass up the chance to include him a little. Thanks for the rating!
Response: My parents have a cairn terrier, same breed as Toto, so I HAD to include him! I'm glad you like the images :-)
Response: You're very welcome. I'm glad you like them!
Response: I'm glad you like them :-) Thanks for the quick rating and the heart!
Response: I'm so thrilled you like it all! I know they're small, but the ATCs and case notebook were my favorite to make. I'm still on Season 5 (episode 16 now), but even though I'm done with the swap, I'm planning to finish the series before moving on (though I did take a break for the new House of Cards series on Netflix). ANYWAY, I'm so happy you liked the package and that it made it there safe & sound. I can't wait to get/open yours!
Response: I'm glad you liked it! :-)
Response: Glad you liked it! :-) Hope you find it fun and useful :-)
Response: I saw a photo of your rat on your Flickr-awwww! I wasn't sure if you had a new one or not, but now I think you must get one (I owned hamsters; similar life span and I still miss them many years later). Anyway, I had a fun time making/buying a whole variety of items to fit the theme. I'm so glad you enjoyed it all!
Response: You're welcome! It was lots of fun putting it together, piece by piece until I wasn't sure how I was going to fit it in the box LOL I went to the craft store the other day and had to untrain myself from noticing Hello Kitty items there! I'm happy you like it all :-)
Response: You're welcome. I'm glad you liked it. Happy swapping to you :-)
Response: You're welcome! heehee They're one of my favorite couples; I couldn't resist (James/Lily, I mean, not Wormtail, Voldy, and teddy bear...) Anyway... happy early Valentine's Day!
Response: You're welcome. I'm glad you liked the ATC & card. Thanks for joining my swap!
Response: I'm glad you got a kick out of it all. There wouldn't be much of a series if Evans had refused to go out with James ;-) Happy early Valentine's Day!
Response: Thanks. Yay for crossing things off our lists! I hope to hear about yours in the next progress swap. Have a good time working through it! Oh, and thank you for taking the time to read through mine! :-)
Response: Thanks for the rating & heart. I hoped you liked the ATC and the Valentine :-)
Response: Thank you for the encouragement! Since I sent that, I figured out what that 7th story will be and have started writing it! Slow and steady progress...
Response: Thank you! This swap definitely helped me continue to make good progress on my goals; I can't wait to read everyone else's and follow their progress in the months to come!
Response: Everyone has his/her own style, so no worries about not having a blog/links. Keeping track of it at all is an accomplishment! I'm glad you like the swap idea (I definitely need someone keeping me accountable) and look forward to seeing your progress down the road in a future swap. Best of luck with your list of goals and thanks for rating so quickly :-)
Response: You are welcome! :-)
Response: Oh awesome! That sounds like a magical time indeed; you're lucky! Thanks for the rating :-)
Response: Wonderful! Donna was such an amazing companion, I'm glad you like her too! :-)
Response: You're welcome. Have fun filling it out for the next round!
Response: You're welcome. I'm glad you liked them!
Response: Thanks for the rating. I'm glad you liked the ATCs. I plan on making the final four this weekend. What a fun series it has been!
Response: I'm so glad you liked it! It was so much fun to make once I decided what to do for it :-) I can't remember if I put it in the note, but the ring pops are to represent the first time we see Donna (as a bride) and a couple of the conversation hearts said "SWEET" on them, so they seemed perfect for this swap. Happy early Valentine's Day, Sweetie! :-)
Response: I hope my letter was all right; I tend to ramble when I get excited about a subject. This was definitely a fun swap and I can't wait to read my partner's letters! :-) I'll message you about AO3, thanks! And thanks so much for reading & rating. Happy fanfic writing & reading to you!
Response: De rein! I'm glad you liked 'em!
Response: I have the owls on a t-shirt (a hoodie sounds nice and warm right now though; well chosen!). I am making my way through the earlier doctors, but the newer ones will always have my heart :-)
Response: I'm so glad you liked it! I was worried the story cubes wouldn't be too useful given what you write, so I'm thrilled to know you & your son are enjoying them! I'm glad you liked all the items :-) Happy writing!
Response: You're welcome. Enjoy! :-) Thanks for the heart!
Response: You are welcome. I am pleased you liked them!
Response: You are welcome! Thanks for the heart :-)
Response: You are most welcome! Glad you liked them!
Response: I'm glad you liked them! I thought they were appropriate, what with your owl swap that was coming up as well :-)
Response: Thank you! The more I think about it, the less likely it is I'll be able to finish the thing this year. But even if I get a first draft done with everything written and edited and ready to be formatted, that'll be more than I've been able to do in a few years on the project and I'll call it a success :-) Happy writing in 2013!
Response: So neat that we had a few of the same titles! Thanks for reading my list and happy swapping!
Response: No worries. I was just about to follow-up with you to see if it had gone missing; I'm glad it was located! Thanks for the rating & heart!
Response: I'm glad you liked everything! I thought about opening the tag to make sure it was a character you liked (I bought one for myself as well; haven't opened it yet), but in the end I figured it would be more fun for you if you opened it yourself. I'm glad to know it was Gandalf! It was difficult to find much merch out there for The Hobbit, I was sad to find. But I was glad to find a little on my quest that you didn't already have. And I asked all my friends for recipes for the book (only got one or two from the internet in order to get a full spread of pages; I had such a great time making that booklet, perfect for a hobbit to stick in his pack before heading out on an unconventional adventure.
Response: I'm glad you liked them. Thanks for rating!
Response: I will tell him you said so! :-) In truth, he adopted/chose me, so I'm the one who's lucky (says the person who was woken up an hour early by a fuzzy one in her face and cut her finger on the cat food can this morning LOL). I'm glad you liked the postcard!
Response: Glad you liked it. Thanks for the rating!
Response: I'm so glad you liked it all. May the Force be with you!
Response: Thank you for the rating + heart. My town is just a normal subburb apart from that bit of history still standing, so it was fun getting to focus on that for an ATC. Glad you enjoyed my location!
Response: Yay! I'm so happy you liked it all. Happy reading too :-)
Response: Glad you liked them. Happy building!
Response: Oh, I'm so relieved! I redid the bird on the string 10 times before I was sort of happy with its position. And I had to re-stick the snowflakes probably no fewer than 50 times with various sticking methods LOL I'm so glad she made it safe & sound. Also, the tag has a hole in it if you wanted to attach it to the jar (I wasn't sure how you like to display those things). Anyway, I'm so glad you like her! Thanks for the rating.
Response: Thanks for the rating & heart. I'm glad you enjoyed reading :-)
Response: Thanks. I hope you enjoyed it and the personal essay. I was so nervous about reading it at my roundtable I was literally shaking! Definitely a good book; I am so thankful for this swap making me read some of these books I've owned for YEARS and never read!
Response: You're welcome. Thank you for the rating! Now to make Four and Five...
Response: You're welcome! I hope you enjoy the prompt. Happy journaling & swapping to you in the new year!
Response: Pound Puppies rock! Now there's something I never expected to say on swap-bot. LOL So good to know someone else remembers them. Thank you so much for taking the time to read my answers & rate. I hope you have a wonderful new year too! :-)
Response: I wish I had a big house and could decorate as extravagantly as some of the houses out there! Christmas lights for all! heehee Thanks for taking the time to read & rate. Happy almost new year to you!
Response: I'm so happy you liked everything, even the items that didn't quite fit into the stocking. Best wishes for your writing in 2013! and I'll see you in another swap soon! :-)
Response: Thanks for the rating & heart. Hers was a fun one to make.
Response: You're welcome! I'm glad I could help fill some gaps in both your collections! :-)
Response: I'm glad you enjoyed the list. Happy reading to you! :-)
Response: So glad you liked it! :-) Thanks for the rating & heart!
Response: I thought she was a really neat wrinkle on the show. I might be the only one who liked her though! LOL (Not loved, mind you, just didn't hate). I'm glad you liked the ATC. Always nice to have a set! PS, if you don't mind my style for this series, I'd be happy to do a private swap with you for the ones you missed!
Response: I sent you your Hunger Games in a bag... so I thought you might enjoy the Hunger Games themed LEGO ATC! I had fun writing it and I'm glad you liked it!
Response: I'm so glad you liked it. I went to your profile for theme ideas and I'm a big Disney fan too, so it seemed like a fun theme to play with. I'm eager to make more of these books now. So much fun!
Response: Oh my goodness! You're so lucky! Maybe he'll pay you a visit in person on Christmas and you can tell him then. If not, I'll be sure to pass the message along through my channels and we'll hope he gets it. Cheers! So glad you liked it all.
Response: Glad you like it! Thanks for the rating & heart :-) (if only we could give two hearts, like the Doctor has!)
Response: I had a fun time putting it together- was both happy and sad to send it off! I'm so glad you like it! And I shall tell Max you said so; he shall be pleased and demand extra treats LOL I realized last night I meant to put in my next list of 101 Goals in 1001 days--oops. But I'm glad it was fun to read without it. And definitely keep up that walking--such a clever idea! Have a wonderful rest of the year!
Response: I'm such a geek to buy from ALA and I'm not even a librarian (though I do volunteer at two libraries). I was thinking of making a bookmark for the swap, but I'm glad I gave you the Hobbit bookmark instead. Great when those things work out! Just like me saving those outdated stamps that were just perfect for the envelope! Happy reading & happy holidays!
Response: I hope you do :-) Have a very Supernatural Christmas!
Response: LOL That he is. I've got so much love for him. :-)
Response: It would have been too long to fit on the card, but my favorite thing David Leviathan does is every year he writes a story for his friends & family for Valentines Day and some of them end up being published. I think it's a neat & creative tradition and cool that we get to enjoy some of the results too! So far, I'm like Lowry's "Son" more than "The Messenger" so that's good :-)
Response: I'm so glad you liked everything! I'm curious to find out what little figure you got in the mystery box. I am glad it made you smile; you can never be too old to enjoy a package of fannish goodness :-)
Response: Am so glad you liked the items! The other wrapped gift is smaller, but I hope you like it as well when you open it. Have a happy (early) geeky Christmas! *hugs*
Response: Glad you liked the prompt! I hope you have fun filling it out. Thanks for the rating!
Response: I saw that in the store a few days ago and was on the fence about buying it. Am glad I made the right call. Enjoy! :-) PS- the apple/trading cards could be used for ATC-making or any other Twlight-themed crafts, I suppose.
Response: Am glad you liked everything! My printer died, then my computer died, and then my new printer started acting up when I was printing some of those coupons. So I'm glad I could get it out to you on time! Am very glad you enjoyed it.
Response: I was so thrilled to find that bookmark available at my local library after I announced the theme for the list; too perfect. Happy reading!
Response: You're welcome! Glad you liked them. Thanks for the rating + heart!
Response: I can't wait to make them for the whole series. Now if I could only watch the series at the same pace as making ATCs, I'd be caught up to present day in no time. heehee Thanks for the rating & heart!
Response: Woot! I was just about to message you and ask if you needed a re-send. I'm glad you got it & the sticker sheet (I knew I was keeping those around for some good future use! heehee) Glad you like it!
Response: Once I'd stuck all the different elements together, it took a while to figure out why it would be so mismatched. Once I realized he'd dressed in the dark, I just had to add a cape & flashlight *G* I'm glad you got a kick out of him. Thanks for participating in my first LEGO group swap!
Response: You are welcome! Now I need to find a project to use the extra lace in :-) Happy swapping!
Response: I'm glad you liked the ATC. Thanks for hosting this swap! I hope you'll continue the series :-)
Response: Great timing! I was just about to contact to see if you got it. I'm glad you liked it! Happy swapping :-)
Response: Whoohoo! I really wanted to get you matching pens but the bin where I got the notebook was GONE during my return trip to the store. I cried. Okay, I didn't, but I could have. So I'm glad I got that notebook when I did! Enjoy :-) And I'm glad you like the little guy. I hope he protects your precious word count for you! Happy writing!
Response: Best of luck this month! Hope you enjoy all the goodies as you meet your goals!
Response: Glad you enjoyed them. I highly recommend the book! Hope you enjoyed the one you read as well!
Response: I'm so glad you enjoyed it and that it arrived just in time for you to use it! Happy Halloween right back at you :-)
Response: I highly recommend it! I hope you got a lot out of the one you read for the swap too :-)
Response: Thanks for letting me know! Happy journaling & swapping!
Response: I'm so glad you liked it! I was lucky that all three partners wanted different bears, and I'm glad you don't mind the one I selected for you. I hope you/your children/grandchildren enjoy the stickers one day. LOL! I do the same thing, though, hanging on to things I love best and then, dozens of years later, figure out the perfect project or use for it :-) Thanks for the rating & heart!
Response: I found the images on the internet (did an image search for Grumpy) and cut them out carefully (if you can't find them, let me know). The rhyme is my own creation. Glad you liked the ATC & the stickers! Thanks for the great swap!
Response: I was LUCKY enough to get partners with requests for three different bears. So it was lots of fun thinking up little rhymes for each of them :-) I'm so glad you like him and hope you enjoy putting the stickers to good use!
Response: All done using Microsoft Word, actually. I didn't even open Photoshop on my computer for any of them. I'm glad you liked the cards, especially JKR (I just started her adult book yesterday, coincidentally).
Response: I decided to make the Impala one, but I had some other ideas as well. I thought the Impala one turned out fine (note the Devil's Trap inside the trunk, heehee) but the map idea is one I've used on SPN wrapping paper and SPN mail art and wanted to try it on a matchbox as well. I'm glad you liked them!
Response: It was lots of fun looking around for items. What a great swap! I'm glad you like all the goodies. Can't wait to see what you come up with from my list :-)
Response: I made the green one for my very first SPN swap here last year (and have sent it around in ATCs and other packages). But the boys' tree in the Christmas episode had lots of different colored trees. It was fun deciding on some Impala-related quotes to include on the other ones. Can be used on a Christmas tree or hanging from your rear view mirror when it's not the holiday season! :-)
Response: Yay! I'm so glad you like it! :-) I definitely had fun putting it together. I'm always thrilled to make a fellow SPN fan smile.
Response: I'm glad you like them. It was fun hunting down quotes from each of them (thank goodness you chose demons with lots of lines; don't know what I would have done with a Windego! LOL). I bought the stamp from dragonflycurls on etsy (looks like she's on vacation right now). She had one for sale once but it was sold, so I had to special order it, but SO worth it considering all the SPN swaps I do on swap-bot! I've bought some Harry Potter and Doctor Who stamps from her as well and they're all great quality.
Response: I am happy you like both! You definitely don't want to see the rejected versions of the stuffie LOL I know Tonks' hair is usually pink or purple, but I think she'd turn it yellow in honor of her house *G* I'm glad you liked the effect.
Response: Oh wow--it got there before I could even upload the photos to Flickr! I'm so relieved it made it there safe and sound and that you're pleased with it! I'm glad she's found a good home with you :-)
Response: You're welcome. I'm glad you like it! Happy reading :-)
Response: I'm so glad you liked the bag! And happy reading. I wanted to be sure to send one book with Prue and one with Paige..
Response: LOL Thanks! Actually, one of my favorite fanfic writers has a series where Kennedy (who is def. not my favorite) and Willow are shacking up together and they have a little baby named Tara... thanks to Oz. I love "super loyal and protective will fight anything to keep WIllow safe" Oz :-) Sometimes it helps to have a werewolf as a secret weapon.
Response: Did I say in my note that I picked up that CA reading list from a table at the National Book Festival? I know it's not strictly Eureka, but that's the state motto(?) and I saw you liked that genre of books, so I thought it fit well enough to stick in there :-) Glad you liked the apron, the book (no spoilers in it past what you've seen), and the other items! Thanks for helping me celebrate the end of the series!
Response: Yay! I am glad you like them all. (The wallet is for all your psychic paper needs, BTW).
Response: Check out Lauren Fairweather's song "I'm Going to Hogwarts" :-) I'm glad you liked the list. Hope you find something great to read!
Response: I'm looking forward to the movie as well! I saw you had read Clare, so I wanted to be sure to send one you knew. I highly recommend the other two! Especially on audio.
Response: Thank you for the rating and the heart.
Response: Yay! I'm glad you liked the concept. I'll have some photos up on Flickr soon of the first two with all the little green pieces. I hope we do the rest of the series! :-)
Response: I'm glad you liked it! It was fun choosing fonts and squeezing all of them into a TARDIS shape :-) And I'm glad the Adipose made you smile!
Response: I'm glad you liked the ATC. I'm watching Doctor Who on TV right now--excellent timing! I bought that stamp on etsy--one of the best Who-investments I've ever made, that's for sure :-) heehee
Response: I "discovered" Poe in middle school thanks to short stories in creative writing class, but The Raven made an impression on me when I heard it later and it was fun making an ATC based on it. I'm so glad you liked it!
Response: Thanks for the rating & heart. I'm glad the idea made sense to you and that you liked the ATC. I just hope the series continues so I can use the rest of the pieces! :-)
Response: Okay. That's my new favorite simile. Aw, Dean :-) But, YAY, I'm glad you like the sharpies. I hope they help you create many, many awesome pieces!
Response: Glad you liked it. There's something about young Harry, just finding out about Hogwarts for the first time that's exciting and magical every time I read it or watch it!
Response: The quote is actually from an Angel episode (season 1). So I cheated a little, but as it mentions Buffy and her time at Sunnydale, and it fits the picture so well, I thought it would work. Glad you liked it! Thanks for the rating & heart.
Response: Yes! I do seem to run into the same swappers in group swaps--nothing wrong with that, though! Love to see active fans on here :-) I'm glad you liked the bookmark & matching ATC. My ATC style is not fixed; I change it for every series I do and I like to try out new things. But for this, I just went simple and all-digital. Normally you can't stop me from using glitter on ATCs. LOL! Anyway, glad you enjoyed them :-)
Response: Oh YAY! I just got word that the etsy store had been having trouble with one of the prints I ordered; that's what held her up. As soon as I get my order, I'll send the last piece of it your way. But I'm really glad you liked the bag as it was :-) The otter meme on the internet is something I believe EVERY Sherlock fan must have a copy of. heehee I'm glad you liked all the goodies, the obviously Sherlockian elements and subtle ones as well. Here's to a season three! *lifts glass*
Response: Hope you enjoyed reading through it. Let me know if you have any suggestions (vampire? not a vampire?)
Response: I'm so glad you liked it! Congratulations again on your acceptance to Hogwarts; not many Americans have their names put down for it, so you should feel extra special :-) I'm sure Ravenclaw will gain a fine member in you. Cheers!
Response: I'm glad you liked it! It was fun to make--I love trying different looks for each series I join. Thanks for the rating + heart!
Response: Thanks! I'm glad you like it, especially as you're a Taurus (it really is the best sign, isn't it? heehee). Happy swapping!
Response: Keep collecting and swapping; you'll get there *G* I'm glad you enjoyed it. It was lots of fun to go through and tag/describe/point out items as well. Glad you enjoyed looking!
Response: I'm glad you liked it. I had fun making it. Thanks for the rating + heart!
Response: Oh yay! I was going for a mix of things. I loved the cookie cutters so much I think I might have to track some down for myself now! heehee I'm so glad you liked it all, including the Pez. And I'm happy it gave you something to smile about when coming home from vacation! :-)
Response: Thanks for the rating & heart! Sorry I'm not better at drawing, but I'm glad you enjoyed it and a few reasons I think he's worthy of the title. heehee And YAY! I thought the trading cards be fun to share/collect/trade! I'm going to make a couple others for the swap photo before making it a District 13 swap :-)
Response: I'm so glad you liked it! Thanks for the rating & heart.
Response: I'm happy you liked it! Thanks again for hosting this series.
Response: You're so welcome. There was so much on your profile to work with and it was a lot of fun buying/making all the things. I'm glad you & your family enjoyed going through it! :-) Thanks for the rating & heart <3 Happy swapping!
Response: Thanks for the rating & heart. I'm happy you liked it!
Response: Thanks! Glad to hear it made sense and that you liked it all :-) I had a great time with the ATC series!
Response: I'm happy you liked the ATC! :-) Xander is one of my faves, and it was tough deciding on a good quote for him. Xander & Anya were definitely an interesting couple!
Response: Thanks, I'm glad you liked it! I wish you a speedy recovery!
Response: I'm so glad you liked it! :-) Thanks for the rating & heart.
Response: Woot! I'm so glad you liked it! He's one of my favorites as well (but I like him as a reformed demon more than I like him evil).
Response: Thanks! I'm very glad you liked it. My real life Sunflowers aren't doing so hot right now (I don't think they like Virginia's outdoor weather) so I'm glad the ATC version made it safe & sound and won't die :-)
Response: Thanks for the rating & the heart. Happy swapping!
Response: Yay! I'm so pleased you liked it! I just watched Paige's first episode this morning. Sad :-(
Response: I'm so happy that you liked all of it! I tried for a mix of Harry Potter-esque things as well as some officially licensed items and some crafted ones. I'm definitely glad you liked the ATCs- those were fun to make!
Response: Thanks so much for the heart. I tried to include a lot of info as I love hearing why people like the things they like :-) Happy swapping!
Response: I didn't make the stamp; I bought it on Etsy (money spent on an adorable Adipose stamp is money well spent). Let me know if you want to know which store/crafter and I'll look it up for you. I'm so glad you liked the ATCs! Jack's one of my favorites (I gave Doctor Who a second chance because I watched Torchwood and wanted to know more about Jack... then fell in love with DW despite myself, heehee).
Response: You're most welcome. I'm very glad you liked it all!
Response: You're welcome. Thanks for the rating and heart. Glad you liked the ATC!
Response: Thanks! I'm so glad you liked the postcard! :-)
Response: Thanks for the rating & heart. And I'm glad you liked it. Map postcards are my favorite!
Response: Thanks! I really wanted something that would showcase the different sides/important ages he has/is on the show. Bah. I'm probably not saying it well. But I'm glad you liked it!
Response: Oh yay! Iit's hard to find TNG items in stores nowadays and that magnet made me laugh when I saw it, so I'm happy you liked it too. And I'm glad you liked all the little goodies. Happy reading!
Response: heehee I'm glad you like them and hope you'll find them useful!
Response: I'm so glad! :-) Thanks for the rating & heart.
Response: I'm so glad it arrived safe & sound and that you like all the goodies!
Response: Sorry it printed out a little fuzzy. I have tried a lot of different things to get it to print clearer and haven't gotten it to work yet. I did have fun choosing the photos and getting them to fit inside the symbol. This is what it SHOULD look like: http://i338.photobucket.com/albums/n427/KateKintail/Paige.png
And I totally agree about Paige. I wasn't a huge fan of her in the beginning, but she definitely came into her own. My favorite of her was when she taught at Magic School and when she had that string of temp jobs with magical connections. Anyway, glad you liked the ATC!
Response: You're welcome. I'm glad you liked it. Thanks for the rating + heart!
Response: Really? Dark!Phoebe and Source!Cole were so hard for me to watch!! I hate it when my good characters go evil--kind of breaks my heart. But when they redeem themselves, it makes it all worth it. Great drama! Anyway, glad you liked the ATC :-)
Response: He was indeed a great character--I like complex characters you can't help but both love and hate at the same time. He certainly had a great & important role in the series and I'm glad he made it into the ATC Series so high up on the list :-) Happy swapping & I hope to see you again in another swap!
Response: I'm so glad you like them! :-) Thanks for the rating & heart. Happy swapping!
Response: I'm glad you liked it & the stamp. Thanks for the rating & heart. Happy swapping!
Response: So glad you got a kick out of that (one day I really need to make one of those and put it in MY car LOL). Glad you liked the ATC as well :-)
Response: Oh yay! Being flaked on is such a miserable experience. I'm so glad I could send you something to smile about :-) I'm happy you liked it so much! Enjoy!
Response: Woot! I bought myself a package of the buttons, too, as I'd never seen them before either (neat swap got me looking at everything in the aisle more closely). Glad the kids are having fun with the bowling set too! You're welcome & thanks for the rating & heart.
Response: Thanks for the rating & heart. I'm glad you liked them. It's been a fun series so far! :-)
Response: Well, it WAS my swap, so I knew it was coming and had time to think about which books were my favorites :-) Thanks for the rating & the heart. Happy reading!
Response: I'm so glad you liked it. I hope it made it through in one piece. I used SO MUCH GLUE to keep the bookmarks and pen and scrabble tiles in place (the scrabble tile letters that were chosen were not random, either, so I hope they all stayed put and are readable). I don't know if you took a close look at the book covers used in the very back of the jar, but they're all ones that sort of fit the color scheme and that you mentioned in your profile that you liked! I came up with the idea of doing a book fairy when I signed up for the swap and was so pleased I got someone who likes books too. And the pages are from a sci-fi book, because you mentioned it was a genre you liked. It was fun to make and fun to customize it a little. Thanks for the heart & rating. Enjoy the jar!
Response: I'm happy you liked it; I definitely had fun putting together the package. Hope you have a good turnout for your SRP this year!
Response: A bookmark--I hadn't thought of that, but it would definitely be of use at that point. Good call.
Response: Yay! I'm glad you liked it all. This has been a fun series to do. Thanks for the rating & heart!
Response: How perfect was that? It's like I held on to the last three or four stamps from that sheet from years back, just knowing it was going to be needed. LOL I'm glad you liked it!
Response: You're welcome. Glad you liked them! Thanks for the lovely rating!
Response: Thanks for the rating & heart. I'm glad you liked the postcard :-)
Response: A label is a great idea; I hadn't thought of that! Wouldn't look as nice, certainly, nor would it then be waterproof, which was the whole benefit of the card. But, hey, if you can find a pen that works, absolutely let me know! Have fun trying :-)
Response: Glad you liked them! Yeah, the costumes are pretty terrible. But I like including the tributes on the cards because it's easy to forget the no-name tributes and they're all kids who died for their districts, in the end. Nice to put faces to them. Glad you liked the postcards too! :-)
Response: Yes, I comissioned dragonflycurls on etsy to make the stamp for me and she did a beautiful job. Given the length of this ATC series, I thought it was a good investment! :-) My style changes for every ATC series I do, but I thought the quotes in the background were a neat look--glad you liked them!
Response: Thanks for reading, sweetie! And I appreciate you sending me your responses, even though I wasn't your partner. You are AWESOME! Happy fangirling :-)
Response: I'm so glad you got a kick out of it. And it makes me feel better (vindicated!) to know that you didn't have a pen that would work properly on it either! LOL
Response: You're welcome. Thanks for helping me get rid of a litlte of my junk!
Response: Absolutely! I paid good money for this recipe card. I'm going to keep it even if it's useless! Hahahahaha. Thanks for helping me get rid of it in the end :-)
Response: I'd love to hear if you can get it to work! I'm so glad the item & note made you laugh :-)
Response: Yay! I'm so glad that you liked the ATC & the extra. I'm glad it did Dean justice. There are lots of ATCs left to go in the series; I'm sure I'll see you around more :-)
Response: Thank YOU for rating & for the heart :-)
Response: Thanks for reading & for the heart. Glad you enjoyed!
Response: Thanks for reading & thanks for the rating. I love your username by the way! Awesome :-)
Response: As someone with a postcard collection, I hope you have many, many more postcards to come. I'm glad I could help start you off and that you enjoyed them! Thanks for the rating & heart!
Response: Yay! I'm sure Cas will make sure the glitter stays put for ya :-) I had fun making it, despite the Castiel SPRock song stuck in my head the whole time. So I'm very glad you liked it! Thanks for rating!
Response: I'm glad you liked both the ATCs. Thanks for rating & for the heart!
Response: Oh no--bad plastic! But I'm very glad you liked it!
Response: I'm so glad you liked them! The Tenth Doctor will always be special to me :-) Thanks for the rating & heart.
Response: Glad you liked the quotes! May the odds be ever in your favor :-)
Response: I bought the last few packs at my local Walmart so that I could do lots of crafts with them. They're a fun place to start when making ATCs. May the odds be ever in your favor :-)
Response: You're welcome! May the odds be ever in your favor :-)
Response: That is AWESOME! I got your card as well. CONGRATS on finishing--better late than never.

Response: You're welcome. Thanks for the rating & heart. Enjoy! :-)
Response: You're so welcome! I had a lot of fun with them, choosing images and quotes and all :-) And I always love an excuse to stare at Spike for an hour. LOL
Response: Thanks for the rating & heart. I hope you enjoy the candy!
Response: He's definitely got a style all his own, and I like his short stories better than most of his novels (great concepts). But Duma Key was especially fun because it had to do with art, so I thought it was doubley-appropriate to mention for a swap-bot swap :-) Happy reading!
Response: What excellent timing! When I sent it out, I had a HOPE that it would make it there in time, but I wasn't sure because it was heading out of the country. I'm glad you got it today of all days! I'm so happy you like the bag and will find it useful! (And here I was all worried you wouldn't like it at all) Happy Hunger Games day!
Response: Thanks! Glad you enjoyed it. Lupin & Black are two of my favorite characters to write, so it was a lot of fun :-)
Response: Thank you for the rating. I'm glad you liked your bookmark--yours was the most fun to draw (I especially enjoyed Hermione's turtle with the willow-patterned shell).
Response: Thirteen Reasons Why was perhaps the best book I read last year. It still haunts me (though in a good way) and makes me think. I just looked up Suite Francaise--it sounds amazing!
Response: You're welcome! I saw the theme and just KNEW I had to join it and do a Wizard of Oz one :-) I'm glad you liked it!
Response: It's been a lot of fun; I'm glad I chose that for my list last time. I might do the same thing for my next list, because I have so many projects left to do!
Response: I did kind of get carried away (so hard to choose just a few of my favorite quotes & moments), so I'm glad you didn't mind. It was a fun swap!
Response: Thank you for the rating and the heart!
Response: You're welcome! I had a lot of fun drawing it :-)
Response: Thank you for the encouragement! A project a month has been a lot of fun, but my 1001 days are nearing an end and there are still so many projects I haven't done yet! I might just have to do the same thing next time.
Response: You're welcome! Thanks for the rating & heart. Happy reading!
Response: Excellent! :-) Thanks for the rating & heart.
Response: Your guess is as good as mine. Ghosts? Halloween decorations? The banners changing from Slytherin to Gryffindor at the end of the movie?
Response: Absolutely! You're welcome. Thanks for the rating + heart!
Response: I'm very glad you liked the card (I love Aragorn looking all kingly).
Response: Thanks. They're some of my favorite characters to write fanfic about. I agree that this swap has been a lot of fun!
Response: You're welcome! I'm so glad you liked it all. The last little piece just arrived so I'll be mailing it off this week. Thanks for the fun swap!
Response: My response is just as late, it seems; no worries at all. *hugs* i'm so sorry for your loss.
Response: Hope you liked it! Thanks for the rating + heart!
Response: You're welcome. Thanks for the rating and heart. I had a lot of fun with the idea and look forward to writing a reply from Remus for the next swap.
Response: Thanks for the rating + heart. It was a fun exercise and I hope you enjoy the read! I'd love to hear your thoughts!
Response: Yay! I am brand new to stuffies (that was only my second one ever) and this was the only one in this series I attempted because Sirius is one of my favorites and I couldn't resist. I'm so glad you liked it and I hope your son does as well!
Response: You're welcome! I'm new to ATCs, but I used to fill pages and pages with flowers like this when I was young, so it was fun to go back to my roots with this ATC! Glad you liked it & the little extras :-)
Response: You're welcome! I'm thrilled you liked it as much as I liked the one you sent me! :-) You know I'm still new to the show (halfway through Season 5 right now) so I'm glad it captured the show all right. Getting distracted by the boys while reading with that bookmark... isn't so bad, is it? heehee
Response: You are SO welcome! I probably spent way more time on it than I'd planned, but it was a whole lot of fun making everything while watching seasons 1 through 5 for the first time! I'm so glad you liked everything. Have fun with it!
Response: Thanks. I'm so glad you liked it. I had so much fun making it & the goodies inside. A great show with such great fans to swap with! :-)
Response: Ha! I just got one from right down the street from me, practically! You're right; Virginia must be a hotbed of Chai-drinikers! I hope you enjoy this flavor (I definitely needed something I could drink at night and still sleep afterward).
Response: Thanks for the heart. Happy listening!
Response: Yay! :-) The Ministry of Magic and Oliver Boyd & the Remembralls are my favorites in WRock. I highly recommend them! Happy listening!
Response: I thought that a literary-related question (yay Alice in Wonderland!) would be the perfect thing to be asked to gain entry to the Ravenclaw common room! :-) Glad you got a kick out of it.
Response: I'm glad you liked the poem--I was pretty happy with it :-) Enjoy the sentiments & teas! Happy magical Valentine's Day!
Response: Thanks for the heart. Happy BookCrossing! :-)

Response: Eeyore is sneaky and blends in sometimes ;-) Glad you got a kick out of it!
Response: Yay! I look forward to it. I'm soooo glad you got my package (I was just about to message you to make sure it didn't get lost in the mail). I'm so glad the items made you smile (and since you missed out on the whimsey jar, I wanted to be sure you got a jar of some sort). I had a lot of fun coming up with Eeyore-related craft items, so I'm glad you liked how they turned out. Thanks for noticin'
Response: You're welcome. I'm glad you liked it! Thanks for the heart :-)
Response: Aw, thank you so much! I thought the stationary was appropriate and just the right size to fit the bookmark, too. I'm glad you liked your Jarvey! I feel the need to include one in a future fanfic now. lol
Response: I would certainly be interested! Houses? Classes? One for each book? At any rate, thanks again for hosting & I'm glad you liked your bookmarks :-)
Response: I'm glad you got it! I had such fun with it. And I was thrilled to find a jar that looks like a honey pot--seemed appropriate, so I kind of stuck to that theme with Pooh Bear :-) Thanks for participating and I'm glad you liked what I sent!
Response: Yay! I'm so glad it made it to you and that you liked it once YOU opened it- LOL! I'm happy that you like the address labels; I have so much fun making those. Have a good time with it & happy swapping!
