I am aware of the 1 rating on my profile, which I had totally missed years ago. I am so sorry about that... I was under the assumption all my mail arrived perfectly.. And I just went on a swapping hiatus shortly after the last swap I participated in. Again, so sorry

I have sent out this swap again (on the 17th of January 2025), after messaging my swap partner from then and she graciously agreed to let me resend the swap. Hopefully it will arrive soon

Alright a little more about me then..

I am ALMOST 40 years old.. eek.. and I live in Amsterdam (where I was also born an raised). I live alone with my 3 amazing cats, Micio, who is 11, Nuala who is 7 and Bowie who is 3. I have a fulltime job as an IT-specialist, so when I am home I love to NOT be on a computer lol.

I love arts and crafts, especially mixed media projects. I am not as wonderful as some of the people I have seen on youtube, but I am getting more and more ideas which I would like to try out for myself. Unfortunately I don't have a lot of time to actually do a LOT, but a journal page or 2 (or a canvas) a week I can do outside of work..And since a a few years I am HOOKED on ATC's and POCKET LETTERS!..And since ATC's are relatively small I can usually do 1 or 2 or so in the evenings when I come home. And sometimes they are just tiny, or prepping the backgrounds instead of actually finishing a whole page..or canvas.

Hopefully I will join some candy-swaps in the future (I would love to try some goodies from around the world!! haha) BUT unfortunately I am allergic to NUTS

• Mixed media arts (ATC's, APC's and journal pages
• Painting on canvas (mainly with acrylic paints)
• Art journalling (which is mostly mixed media I think)
• Something with bottlecaps (magnets, hangers, keyrings etc.. Also these bottlecaps come in very handy during the mixed media projects)
• Making Pocket letters!
• Make jewellery (Often with handmade beads, either polymer clay or paper)

I do not, knit or crochet, basically because I suck at both haha. Oh I also cannot draw something nice to safe my life! Seriously, even my stick figures look horrible :(

For swaps I think I am really easy going, I like everything. I don't have a whole list of stuff I would NOT like to receive.. But I do have few dislikes:

• Religious stuff
• Stuff with babies on it
• make-up, because I just don't wear it ;)
• Nuts (obviously because of my allergy haha)

Other than that.. I like it all! Handmade, store bought, whatever colours, whatever images and patterns..

LOVE

• Darker/Gothic type stuff
• Weird stuff you probably wouldn't send to anyone else (offensive or just plain rude for instance)
• Something with owls or cats
• Anything Disney (classic)
• Halloween stuff
• Bohemian stuff

those will absolutely get you an instant

Detective's, Thrillers, Non-Fiction, Novels, Fantasy... Almost everything really. I read an average of 100 books a year ;)

Actually, the writer of the last book I mentioned is one I came accross not too long ago and I am already hooked! I have read everything that he wrote (well, everything that is available in English that is) so far and I can't wait for his other books to be translated. He writes in such a captivating way, very poetic, lots of details and intriguing stories.. At least, I think so!

BUT it won't be picked up/sent out until Tuesday, because we have no post on Sunday AND Monday and the mailboxes aren't emptied until Tueday..... I still mark it as "sent" though, to keep my swap-bot organized, so I know what I've sent out already and what swaps I still have to send out
