About Me
Hi, I’m JoeKochin! 😊🇯🇵
I was born in Hiroshima but have been living in Osaka for a long time.
Osaka’s quirky vibe suits me perfectly!
I’m new to Swap-bot and excited to connect with people from around the world.
Although my English is still a work in progress,
please feel free to send messages in English!
I have a super partner, Chaichai (my Assistant ChatGPT),
who helps me with translations. 😉
A Note About Swaps
Please don’t feel pressured to match my Favorites!
I love surprises and discovering new things through swaps.
However, there’s just one thing I’m not fond of—glitter. ✨
It tends to scatter everywhere, and I’m not a fan of cleaning up sparkles afterward! 😂
Other than that, I’m happy with anything you choose to send.
I'm Japanese……but
“Being Japanese doesn’t always mean I’m into anime!”
I’m a Japanese person who isn’t very familiar with recent anime or trends. Even if something is really famous, I might not know it! But that doesn’t mean I dislike anime—I just have my own style when it comes to what I like.
For example…
- I don’t know Ranma 1/2, but I do know The Kabocha Wine.
- I don’t know Pretty Cure, but I’m super familiar with Creamy Mami.
So, I’m more into older or niche stuff. I love works by artists like Fujiko Fujio A, Hideaki Anno (Neon Genesis Evangelion), Kazuo Umezu, Suehiro Maruo, and Momoko Sakura (Cojicoji).
If you’re into those kinds of unique manga creators, we’ll probably have a great conversation!

Response: Jasmine rice is tricky for making rice balls! Maybe using plastic wrap to shape them could help? In Japan, many people use plastic wrap to press and shape rice balls easily. He should give it a try! 🍙✨

Tell me Japan + Gifts! 🎁🌸 And Godzilla! I can't believe I forgot Godzilla! =)
Happy Daisy day!
Fun Fact: daisies are actually two flowers in one! The outside petals are one flower, and the inside disk is another flower. They combine so well together that they became a symbol of love!
