Description:

The February 2013 Fandom in a Mini Bag swap is the X-Files fandom.

Step 1: Please list in the comments your favorite characters, moments, episodes, seasons, etc.

Step 2: After partners are assigned, check to see what your partner likes. You can follow-up with a message if you need to know more. Then scrounge up, buy, and/or create items that fit in a bag. Your bag must contain at least 5 different items although more is certainly encouraged to make your bag look full of goodies.

Some ideas of themed items: stickers, ATCs, postcards, toys/action figures, comics, note cards, pins/buttons, magnets, jewelry, trading cards, charms, ornaments, bookmarks, address labels, plushies/stuffies, promo stills/autograph cards, fanfic drabbles/ficlets, etc.

More specific ideas: FBI ID badges, "I want to believe" mini poster, sunflower seeds, etc.

Be sure to check your partner's profile so you don't send anything he or she might be allergic to.

Step 3: Put the items in a ziplock-type bag. Size: 1 quart (roughly 8.5inches by 7 inches or 21.5cm by 18cm). You can decorate the bag or incorporate the bag into something (mount it or sew something around it). If you want to make or buy a bag instead of using a ziplock plastic one, that's fine as well, but it should be at least a quart in size. All items you gather or create should fit into the bag (if a couple are too big, that's fine).

Assemble your bags during the month of February and please send by the deadline (March 1).

Group rating rules apply. NO FLAKING ALLOWED! All flakers will be locked in a closet with Cigarette-Smoking Man.

This isn't one of my fandoms, but I've seen a few dozen episodes in early seasons and I have friends who will appreciate X-File-related gifts from me.

I like Mulder, Scully, Skinner, and Krycek (though his side-switching is infuriating, he's easy on the eyes). I like the Lone Gunmen as well; I think I saw their whole series on first run.

I was/am a huge X-Files fan! So much so that I had organized Xeminar 1999 and 2000 and have boxes of X Files goodies. My bag may be large instead of mini. However, I was never a Mulder/Scully romance fan.

My favorite characters are Mulder, Skinner, and the Smoking Man. My favorite episodes are the infamous Home (where the inbred boys keep their mother under the bed); Goodnight Dr. Frankenstein (remember the Great Mutato?); and Irresistible (where killer, Donnie Pfaster removes the fingernails of his victims). Unlike @stlouisphile I was a fan of the romance between Mulder and Scully. I love sunflower seeds. I used to want to join the FBI. I collect handmade ornaments. I love the "I want to believe poster."

Forgot to mention that I love the Lone Gunmen.
