hi, i'm stormy (or laura, whatever). i live in minnesota, USA. i'm on this website because i love writing letters and finding friends. i am very interested in having a long-term international pen pal that i can write to regularly and exchange packages with candy and other things i wouldn't find here. i have five guinea pigs that i love a lot and i am a major star wars fanatic. i also LOVE comics and would love to publish one of my own someday.

my favorite bands are blink-182 and against me! and i love tom delonge a lot. i've been listening to blink since 2006 or so and it's helped with me through a lot. i only started listening to AM! since may of 2012 when the lead singer came out as transgender but i haven't found a new band that i really, really like in a long time. i strongly recommend that you listen to both those bands if you don't already. i mean, if you're into punk rock/skate punk. i also enjoy generation X (and billy idol in general), panic! at the disco (used to be my favorite band), phantom planet, box car racer, the killers, kreayshawn, dead kennedys, misfits, the young veins and the like.

star wars is my favorite franchise of all time. i'm going to be a film student next year and hopefully, maybe, i can be the next george lucas. :) i also love indiana jones. in 2012 the best movies i've saw were paranorman and frankenweenie, the lorax was very good too. my other favorites are fargo, super 8, wall-e, UP, the triplets of belleville, kick-ass, etc. i honestly don't care much for superheroes.

I have 5 guinea pigs and I've had 3 of them since I was 13/14 years old... so they've been through a lot with me. I'm also looking into adopting a rabbit this summer.

I love sloths and dolphins and I think all Australian mammals are hilarious and adorable. I also have a soft spot for penguins/polar bears/seals/any animal that lives in the snow.

I am sorry, but swap-bot has unsuspended me and will not give me an explanation... I am disappointed because I have completed many successful swaps and have enjoyed coming here... unless the suspension is lifted, I won't be here much anymore. :/
