Swap Info:Looking to try a book in a new-to-you genre? Or looking for an excuse to read a book off your Mt. To Be Read? Every month, we'll explore a different genre by reading a single book and sharing our thoughts with our partner. November's genre is urban fantasy. Whether you're new to the scene or just using this swap to read one you've had your eye on for a long time, this is the swap for you. Genre Definition:(Wikipedia) Urban fantasy is a subgenre of fantasy defined by place; the fantastic narrative has an urban setting. Urban fantasy exists on one side of a spectrum, opposite high fantasy, which is set in an entirely fictitious world. Many urban fantasies are set in contemporary times and contain supernatural elements. However, the stories can take place in historical, modern, or futuristic periods, and the settings may include fictional elements. The prerequisite is that they must be primarily set in a city. Swap Instructions:Choose any urban fantasy book and read it! There are tons of online suggestion guides that might help. Please post below if you have any suggestions.
