P.S. To answer your question, I donΓ’β¬β’t have anything too exciting planned for the holidays. My husband and I are both from Colorado Springs, so we will be making the trip down there to see family. Every year, my husband and I forgo Christmas presents to each other and plan a trip! This year we are going to Florida in February :)

Response: I love them too! My house has many rugs and wall hangings of our local lighthouses. We live just 7 miles south of the Heceta head lighthouse which is one of the most beautiful and most photographed in the world.

Maybe use a little stickier tape because the tape was coming off on the egg and it was open a little but I don't think anything fell out. I think your grand kids will love getting eggs in the mail!

Comment: I knew right away when I saw the envelope what swap it was for. My goodness you sent me some lovely things in the envelope-thanks for sharing. You wouldn't like the so called spring we are having in ND now. Thaws alittle then freezes and then snows(!)-rains-but now with the weather warming up even more this week we will probably start to flood-Sandbag Central is busy getting the bags ready-I live in a non-flood zone though!

Response: Your welcome. The rubber stamps were by Landscapes and it was made by stamping onto glossy paper with dye inks. The technique itself is described on their website. I learned it at my local rubber stamp store, Inkspirations. I'm glad you liked it!

Response: The heart is some kins of ceramic. I don't knw what type of clay or whatever it is. My sister makes them for her business "Grief Watch." or for her grief counseling clients or groups. I was able to snatch a few during a visit a few years ago . I'm glad you enjoyed the envelope.

Response: You're quite welcome! I know what you mean about Yosemite - I was quite pleased yesterday to see that the P.O. has issued a new stamp with the Yosemite Valley on it. It made me happy to look at it too - and I bought LOTS of the stamps to use on my swap-bot happy mail!

Response: I'm glad you liked the package! The version of a star book I make is basically made from 5 gift cards glued together with ribbon across the back and front and tied at the side. Decorated front and back covers are attached over the ribbon. Very fun to make. I saw Beth Cotes make one on the Carol Duval Show years ago but made my first one this past month. Thanks for the heart!

Response: I'm so glad you received/liked the package! Eureka is still one of my favorite shows so if you like sci-fi, watching the DVD will surely get you hooked in a hurry. It will be interesting to see if the other box ever shows up - let me know if it does, will you? I've never had one lost before and makes me wonder if it is in some warehouse or in a broken down truck somewhere. It could make for an interesting story....

My husband is always chastizing me for picking up various things from the ground when we walk so I was glad to have a 'real' reason to do so because of this swap - but actually the agates are the only ones he encourages me to truly look for!
