Does the cards have to be blank or can I write in it?

And from which date we can start to send? I just can't wait!

All cards are to be written with a holiday greeting to your partner.

You can mail the cards anytime after partners have been assigned...the swap host has 7 days after November 21 to check participants and assign partner...hopefully she will be able to get this done as soon as possible on or after November 22 since this swap has a short turnaround. (";)

This activity is for children or adult? I got a 2 year old daughter, hope she can join this.

@chuaeil this swap is for adults unless you message your partners once partners are assigned that you are requesting for your cards to be sent in your deaughter's name.

i am new to swapbot if i have signed up what happens now?

On this other swap it says we're allowed to send Christmas cards about dead cats. Are we allowed to send Christmas cards about dead cats in this one? I need to know right away.

You are only allowed to send Christmas cards about dead cats with 3 eyes.

When can we send the cards? And from where get I the addresses? And I write christmas greetings on the card? I send not a blank card or????? Im new here and I´m very curious......

hi Slammie, Look up on the right hand side of the page. Once partners are given, You will press one option to show partners, That will give you your partners address to send to. As far as I can understand you write a christmas greeting in the card to the partner that you are given. You can make your own homemade christmas cards or shop bought ones. I hope this helps....

Songcrafter, go to the bottom of this page and click on and read each of the links beside "Help", especially the first 4. All of the information you need is there.

As for joining this swap, go to the bottom of the swap description above and click on "Join swap". Follow the instructions from there.

Sometime between Dec. 1 and 7, the swap host will screen everyone and then assign partners. When this has been done, a box like this will appear at the top right of this page:

Rate your partners and coordinator

In that box, click on "See the partners you send to" and it will take you to a screen with the names and mailing info of all of your partners.

When you have actually mailed all of your cards, in that same box, click on "Click here when you have sent your items". Tis will record the date you mailed your swaps.

When you receive your cards from others, click on "Rate your partners and coordinator" - that will take you to a screen where you can rate each partner - and you can also rate the swap host if you feel they have done something exceptionally good, or exceptionally not-so-good. If the host does nothing out of the ordinary either way, then you do not rate at all (no rating for the host means everything went fine).

But I strongly suggest that you read everything you can in the links below because there is a lot of info to learn about this amazing site! (";)

There are some very low rated swappers in this swap I truly do hope seeing s this is "the season" of love and hope that all will be posting thier cards..............I got only from one card from 5 swapper last year. Hugs to all from here in Australia

True, Crinoline. @broadway90 is in this swap, and her current rating average is 1. She has two ratings, they are both 1. and she has flaked on all 20-some tags that she promised, including one to me. I pm'd our host here about the situation, hoping she will go through the swappers and cull out the weak ones. But she didn't list any requirements, so she certainly isn't under any obligation to do it. May have to bow out of this, which would be a shame, because I'd love to get and send Christmas cards all over the world.

Due to no response to my communication with the host, and the fact that there are lots of unrated and even some participants with ratings in the 3's, I am regretfully dropping out of this swap to start my own, which I will screen. Sorry.

Maybe this swap should be 4.5-5.0, that everyone would get their christmas cards :)

Hi, I would love to take part in this swap. However, I will be abroard from November 20th untill December 01st. I will only be able to send out cards on the 2nd or 3rd of December. Is this OK?

So does that mean, aside from newbies, are there no minimum rating required? Seems a bit scary to me!

@kelekia I do look at their ratings and look at all 3 and 1 ratings. If they are current I am dropping them and also the ones that have not come online since Nov 1st. I have a list of the ones that are questionable and will see if I drop them by the time I need to assign partners.

Going thru the profiles and have dropped quite a few. Still have about half more to go and have a list of questionable ones that I'll decide to drop right before partners are assigned.

Hello ppl! I just signed in to participate to this swap. It is the first time I do this and I can't wait! BUT, I unfortunately haven't been rated yet, cause I am a newbie here. I am an active crafter, I own a blog and an online shop. I don't know if these are enough for someone to participate here, but I can provide all the info needed to anyone who asks.

I had a card returned to me as not-deliverable. I triple-checked the address and I wrote it correctly. Has anyone else had this problem?

Just want to let you all know that @Chrissycam has flaked on me, and propably also on everybody else she was to send to... She haven't even marked the swap as send...
