I have been watching lots of Tim Holtz lives, especially the makes using these dies that you had on the card. It’s even more gorgeous in person. The delicate snowmen arms - they’re soo dainty!! I loved the letter and mulling spices, and the gorgeous flip book with all the pockets. Thank you for being so very generous with the treats… so many amazing postcards (the Edward Gorey Book!!) and the enamel pins. I just love everything. My children got the pez and jellybeans and are also very happy. And everything was wrapped so beautifully. I can’t give you enough hearts for this swap!! Hurricanes are so hard to deal with...the unknown, the waiting then the storm and aftermath. Definitely puts a kink in Halloween crafting/swapping season when they hit! As for the tag, I LOVE IT!!!! The leaves were die cut and spritzed with a mica spray. We were so incredibly fortunate with this hurricane as it was originally forecast to come into the Tampa Bay area. I am sick for the communities that were affected all across the state. Thank you for your concern.

Response: Glad you like the washi tapes. You’re certainly welcome to copy the washi envelope. I would recommend a thin layer of mod podge or clear glue to help seal the tapes. The tag I cut with a tag die from the lid to a deli container. You could easily cut a tag shape with scissors and punch a hole. Thanks again for your caring thoughts regarding the hurricane. We are so grateful that us and our family are safe, but hate that somebody else was affected.

Comment: I don't even know where to start! Oh my GOODNESS!! The envelope, first, was incredible and such a delight to find in my mailbox. The collaged images and stamps with your beautiful writing, I am so in awe! Then immediately 2, TWO, rolls of precious TH cigar band washi fell out - SQUEEEEEE! (did you hear me? I was loud!) Then 4, FOUR, ATCs popped out and I am just flabbergasted. First, the Evergreen Bough one for this swap, wow! The texture, the layers! the CRACKLE!, the beautifully placed ephemera. Truly amazing, you inspire me so much with your work! Then the bonus 3 cards to fill in my 'gaps', they are treasures! I immediately filled the gaps with them and they fit so beautifully. They're so well thought out and capture such a nice touch of TH style but in **color**. It is so hard for me to get this look! You nailed it! You are so kind to spoil me with this swap, I will be on cloud nine about it for a loooong time. Thank you, thank you, thank you Christine! You earned a bazillion hearts for sure!

And all the goodies! And all the same color scheme. But my favorite are my Squirrel slippers! I hung the art you made on my wall in my swap/writing/craft room and I will ALWAYS remember you and the passion you put into this swap. I hope you get as much in return! Comment: I love how you used some of the original design elements from the early TH days, the umbrella man, the birds on a wire. The textures are all lovely, and it is one of my fave colors of all time. The presentation envie and all of the goodies are so just beautiful as well!! I carefully studied the envie to see which side I should open so I would be able to hoard it and use it in a journal. Thanks so much for all the fun die cuts and extras, this brings back so many great memories of my TH frenzie days. This was a very thoughtful happy mail package!

Response: When I saw you liked surrealism, I knew the Dali was the place to go. I find it a bit odd it’s in St Petersburg, FL, but lucky for me it’s 15 minutes from my house. They have some interesting side exhibits, like recently a joint Magritte/Dali show that was quite interesting. Happy Holidays.

Response: Glad you liked it Jenny! I did make the book from one of the paper mache book boxes you can find at Michael's/Hobby Lobby. It's covered with a handmade paper for texture, then painted with black gesso and a Mars Black/Quinacridone Gold mix over that for depth. I found the bug lollipop at the San Francisco airport and thought it would be good for this Trick 'r Treat swap. I wasn't sure if the DVD would be considered a trick or a treat...but your profile says you like B movies. ;-) Thanks for the rating and heart. Happy Hauntings!

Comment: This was one of the nicest swaps I got all year. Truly a mindful effort that was greatly appreciated. I am working with a student this summer and we are both going to enjoy the lovely papers and goodies. The mix was gone the first day. My husband had picked up the package at the post office and brought it over to my school and I let the other art teachers in my school system try it- no more mix - thumps up from all. The mix was good but the papers and goodies truly made my day. Well worth a heart- Thank you!

I love the little book you put all photos in it, it's so beautyful. And the photos itself are so fantastic. I love the picture with the flowers. Btw Frankfurt is really near where I live. With the train you need half an hour to come to Frankfurt.

Response: Kristy, glad you're happy with your swap package. The string closure envelope just has two discs held in place by eyelets (brads would probably work too), and the string is wound under the discs to close the envelope. I really appreciate your kind comments!
