I have lived in Hawaii for 45 years. I was born in England, and grew up in the Netherlands, and have collected postcards all my life. First thru friends and relatives sending me postcards and then me collecting for myself. Have been serious about it since getting a computer in 2000. Am member of many groups both at Yahoo and Facebook. Have been a member of Postcrossing for many years, also Postcard United, and now, Postfun!

Love postcards!! But my favorites are: trains and train stations, airplanes and airports, lighthouses, bridges (both covered and regular bridges), maps, waterfalls, Christmas postcards, especially from Europe. recipe postcards any language, calendar postcards any year. I love postcards of Cologne, Germany, Cathedral, and also Eiffel Tower in Paris. And Notre Dame. Older Dutch postcards and older Hawaiian postcards. The older postcards can be used but must be in good to excellent condition. Please do not put stickers to hide addresses. I find it ruins the postcard. Please make sure postcards are identified either on the front or on the back.

I love to read, so love postcards that show anything to do with books, i.e. libraries, books stores, etc I love to write letters/postcards, so love any postcards showing mail boxes, post office, people writing/mailing letters, etc.
Anything to do with coffee also. Anything to do with sports, especially rugby and soccer .i have decided I now like the Lantern Press postcards, especially the lighthouses.

I like both unwritten in envelope and written and stamped, but, where possible, I like my favorites, unwritten in envelope When sending unwritten in envelope, please make sure you have a piece of paper or card inside saying swap name, group, and name of sender.

Any size postcards or shaped postcards.

I take part in both National Postcard week and International postcard week.

**_Please do not send***: Anything to do with Art postcards, i.e. sculpture, etc, London, England, Niagara Falls, nudity, Religious unless Christmas postcards unidentified postcards i.e. postcards that do not say what we are looking at.

Please, please do not write quotes, I would much rather you wrote about the postcard or what you are doing, etc. _____________________________________please do not rate a 1 or a 3 without contacting me first. I will always resend!! ----------------------------_ please do not stick that tape all over the postcard. Think it is called Waschi" I am sorry I do not like them! Also please do not add stickers in Envelope. I do not collect or use.

I love sending postcards, and receiving postcards, from all over the world. I love meeting postcard people and have met quite a few postcard friends over the years.

I love having postcard snailmail friends..

***I am tired of trying to figure out who has sent me a postcard for what group and what swap and date and name, therefore I will now rate a 3 when I do figure it out. Sorry****.

I love playing word games with people all over the world. My favorites are: Words with friends 2, Wordox, Wordchums,, and Boggle. If anyone wants to play, I am Glennys Uiagalelei.

I love to read books. I much prefer holding an actual book rather than reading on an iPad or a phone. I love time travel books and my two favorite authors there are Sandra Hill and her Viking series, and Lyn Kurland and her McCloud and dePiaget series. I grew up with Enid Blyton and Erle Stanley Gardner also with Nancy Drew and the Hardy boys..

I also love to collect magnets, keychains, bookmarks, and books that I enjoy reading over and over.

Having grown up in Holland, I am sort of bi lingual. I understand and read Dutch, just cannot write it.
