I was a civil servant for 30 years before retiring as a Data Analyst from Department of Defense. I volunteer at our local library pulling books for inter library loans. I also do volunteer work at my church with an emphasis on education and outreach. I work at our local food bank and resource center. I often do volunteer baking for fundraisers for these different groups.
I love quilting, knitting, reading, baking, and painting with watercolors and acrylics.
I grew up in the 80's, so 80's music rules! I love New Wave, particularly The Split Enz and Crowded House.
I usually prefer non-fiction. The only books I've read lately are about painting with watercolors and acrylics.
I don't watch much tv. It's usually "second hand". When I do, it's usually TLC, the History Channel, National Geographic, and the like.
I've been quilting on and off for over 20 years. I have a number of machines and LOTS and LOTS of fabric. I could live on a deserted island (with electricity) the rest of my life and not use all that I have.
I do everything 0 or 100%. No in between. The same goes for my love of paper and pens. While I have managed to part with a great deal of my paper, I still have a wonderful collection of pens. I'm always on the look out for the perfect pen. Even when I find one that I am very happy with, I can't help but think there is still one better. Hence my continued quest.
I'm not a big fan of extras. They are not required, so please don't feel obligated to send any.
I do give hearts ๐ for the swap being of exceptional quality/work, not the extras.

Thank you Liz for the beautiful wax seals. I already used two of them for holiday thank note cards. I especially like the silver etching you added. Thank you for joining my swap. Best wishes for 2022!
Yay! So happy to see you in the wax seals swap!
Hello! So glad to hear from you!
Hi Liz,
Happy Birthday to you!
