Comment: Thank you for the very pretty beach postcard. I too, love the water. Just returned from a 4 day stay at Ocean City, MD. The only drawback is that it was "senior" week, which means about 100,000 or more high school seniors were there too. I will go back in the fall when it a little more quiet but still a lovely time. I used to have a home in Lake Gaston, NC right on the lake. Pretty too. Carol

I have always wanted to live on (near) the beach, so I'm really enjoying it so far, wasnt really prepared for how crowded it gets in the summer, probably especially more now because of the problems in the gulf, but its still great...When we first got here at the end of December, we woul go and be the only people there. North Carolina is a beautiful place!
