Comment: Well hello stranger! ๐ It was so awesome, to receive a swap from you! I didn't realize you took a break. As because so did I. I had health issues and other worries. I still have the health issues. Mainly with my M.S. But I couldn't stand being away from here any longer. So came back after a long haul. I'm so sorry, you broke your foot in 3 places, ouch ! I hope it's all better & long time healed now. I did that with my left foot, back in 2004, while helping dear husband mow a cemetery lawn. A tombstone fall over on it & completely smashed ever little bone in it. Anyway, So glad you're back here. Yay! I would love to go on & on with your sweet note. But guess better not. But thanks so much, for the 5 PC's for the swap. Which I really love! Take care and I hope you have the best day ever.

Comment: Thank you for the very fun collection of PCs. Locally, I look for PCs at drugstores close to tourist attractions, like the CVS across from Knott's and Disneyland. All the good ones are bought online these days. Maybe we need to start a collective brick and mortar stationery shop!

If you haven't tried Kohlrabi, I recommend it. I have enjoyed it since being exposed to Indian cooking as a teen. The leaves are good in salads and the cabbage is similar to a mild radish raw and lovely roasted.

Yes, Christmas here at house too, with just 2 of my 5 grown kids, a grown nephew, my hubby & me. My other grown kids with their family are stuck at their home, due to stupid virus & so can't see my grands, boo hoo ! But we have a fun day planned of throwing darts ( I own a dart board, pretty big one), Playing UNO, Crazy 8's cards, and then watch Christmas movies. How you & yours? HAPPY HOLIDAYS !

Response: I have to agree it felt like a normal day with fancy food. We tried to make the best of it. We did a decathlon of activities that we all competed at. Board games, quick puzzles, phone games, and switch games. Who ever won picked out dinner on Sunday. I could make dinner or buy out. Comment: Thank you for the pretty postcard. It is so exciting that your son knew all of the presidents since he was 6. I have never been to the Reagan Museum and I live very close to it. One day when it opens up again I will have to go. I just dropped my ballot in the special box today. I will track it in a few days to make sure that it got where it is suppose to go in Ventura County. It is very important that every vote counts.

The other one said dinos are real ans dragons are not and I blew both of their minds with the frozen dragon found in Canada I believe. Comment: Oh my goodness! You wonโt believe the serendipity of your postcard. I give my grandkids adventures with me for their birthdays and Christmas, rather than more stuff. I spent a few hours this morning planning an epic Christmas gift that includes Lost River Gorge, the site on your postcard! Their mothers (my daughters) have fun memories of doing The Lemon Squeeze at Lost River when they were kids. Itโs a very narrow passageway on a rather long hike through a path over a rushing river. Right next to it is Orange Crush, which is a bit larger. Or, you can chicken out and use the path without an adventurous squeeze. Thank you so very much for this postcard! Comment: I love this postcard! The book isnt great - but it also isnt bad. Lots different than the modern movie thats for sure! I appreciate that you added the temperature, that made me happy.
