I'm a thirty-something Army wife, married 13 years, "in the Army" for 6 of those. It's been an interesting experience following my husband around the country as he serves.

I'm "fur-mom" to one little fuzz of 17. (!) She is still quite a spitfire, even in her golden years - I provide the cat food and catnipmouse, and she continues to tolerate me.

I am a distance-ed graduate student in library science, and am looking forward to becoming a librarian.

I love photography, scrapbooking, crocheting, and books, and I play far too much World of Warcraft: Horde-side on Runetotem, for those reading this who play too much World of Warcraft too.

Visually, I'm drawn to clean lines and geometrical patterns. I never met a color I didn't like, but am particularly drawn to greens, blues and purples.

To my swap partners: I am horribly allergic to chamomile, even though I love tea. If you're in a tea swap with me, please let me know whether or not what you send me has chamomile, so that I can share it with my husband if necessary. Thanks! :)

Music: I like most anything except country and rap (and even then, there are exceptions). Favorites: Sting, Franz Ferdinand, U2, Sheryl Crow, Josh Groban.

Books: The Harry Potter series, the Mageworlds series, anything by Austen or Shakespeare, Ender's Game, Speaker for the Dead, The Red Book.

Generally: science fiction, and well-written biographies of interesting characters from history.

Television: I don't watch much television, but I do love most science fiction shows - Torchwood, Doctor Who, Stargate: Universe. I'm a bit of a BBC nut, and grew up on watching Are You Being Served? with my mum.

• yarn. LOVE yarn. Always welcoming opportunities to grow my stash to an even more ridiculous size. Any colors, any fibers, if I can crochet something with it I WILL find something to crochet with it.

• patriotic scrapbooking papers and embellishments
• I have an unholy love of office supplies: post it notes, pens and pencils, funky paperclips and push pins, etc.
• I also have an unholy love of Dunkin Donuts. Their coffee is my number-one must, and their hash browns are the best available.
• Handwritten notes. This is fast becoming a lost art, and it makes me a little sad.
• Recipes! Especially tried-and-true crockpot recipes, but I love to learn new ways of making food, crockpot or not.
• Cat themed items for scrapbooking, or new toys for She Who Must Be Fed
• Willow Tree figurines
• Alabama football. Roll Tide!

• Bugs/spiders/bees
