Comment: Deanna,
Thank you for this lovely envelope full of teas! Iβve already tried two of them and really liked the lychee black tea. Your question to me, βHow are you treating your mind & body today?β was so incredibly thoughtful. I canβt tell you how much this means to me, to hear someone encourage me to give myself what my body asks of me. That is seriously one of the loveliest things anyoneβs ever told me. Thank you again.
See you around Swap-Bot!

Comment: I absolutely love the postcard! It's beautiful! Front & back! I love how your message dances all over the postcard! And you always decorate the postcards so lovely! I love all the stickers! So glad to hear your work journal is working out for you! Thank you! π β€
Comment: I loved the postcard! The Tasmania beach looked so beautiful, gotta thank you and your Australian swapper for the wonderful PC! I am doing great this week, the weather is finally warming up and I got my shorts out of storage Yay! I'm not much into fountain pens, I tried but made a huge mess on overhang I wrote on, maybe I'm not patient enough. But I do love colored pens! Have a fantastic spring! Hugs.
Comment: Hello and Thank You for the generous Tea for two swap...and much more! I love everything and can't wait to try the teas. I think I'll be sharing with my hubbie, as it is Tf2 after all, lol.
Sending you our appreciation!
Comment: Thanks so much for this wonderful parcel! It is so well but together and I love what you sent. The timing of receiving it is kind of funny because I was just talking about pomelos with a friend the other day, I have never tried one but I would like to!
Comment: Hello from a mild Ontario! We have not gotten as much snow in our part of Ontario, but I will not complain. Currently watching Grey's Anatomy again.
Comment: Hi Deanna, I received your postcard today on Tuesday the 20th of February. And wow, that is quite a unique postcard back. *O* And interesting you have the address in the middle and they were able to still make out where it is. Anyway, in regards to your "How are you treating your mind & body today?" question, I actually happened to leave the house today to shop for potential stuff to send to someone, but some playing cards for my collection, and then ate at Burger King... and returned home feeling good and finding your postcard in the mailbox. So I guess that kind of answers your question because I haven't been feeling well, and I decided to let go in some way and not have to be at home being productive or feeling like I need to do this or that (my home is still a mess, but I'm working through it). Your stamp actually isn't cancelled at all, which makes this postcard quite like it never went through the mail and got magically teleported to me... which I enjoy! Your postcard is still so "fresh" and "new" and I like that :D Since your postcard arrived in February, I'll include it in the next group photo of all received February mail on Flickr maybe sometime next month. (I don't always do this, but did so since December 2023 after joining Swap-bot, and will at least do it for February 2024 mail. The last time I did these photos was over 12 years ago in December 2010 and January 2011.) My Flickr photos is at https://www.flickr.com/photos/kiyasugreen but I will also contact you when the photo is up. :D Anyway, thanks for the song recommendations and I look forward to more properly reading the info related to these songs and artists as I listen to them later on. Not sure when, but maybe either later tonight or later this week. ^^ ~Kiyasu
Comment: Thank you for the nice postcard and sharing your washi tape experience with me. This week I have been doing a lot of painting with watercolor and acrylic. I finished three paintings this week.

Comment: Thank you for the lovely letter and ink swabs. It's a pleasure to see such lovely cursive handwriting. My advice to you is to do it your own style, absolutely and imperatively. Thank you again.
Comment: Thank you so much for the teas from snowy Canada! I fell in love with the dragon, just beautiful. Life too has been busy here, work is tiresome( my fibro) But I still have my joy otherwise. Mostly by reading. Keep in touch if you can. Rest well, live peacefully. Thanks again.
Comment: It is always a pleasure to be your recipient in this swapping community. I love the wonderful LNY items and will be responding with some of my LNY collection. :)
Comment: Thanks for your letter and the ink swabs! I always just make them with a brush, the shaking is a good idea actually! I think it's kind of the point that you can also see the colour when it is applied on a whole area and not just in writing. I actually like the colour you want to return. Sometimes I think these grey/purple colours are boring in a swab, but they are actually nice to use for writing when you cannot use bright colours, like at work
Comment: What a beautiful swap! Thank you so much! I adore everything about it, from the way you made this envelope to how you decorated the notepaper! And of course I can't wait to try this interesting tea. Thanks again! <3

Comment: Utah is cold and wet. Ya know that wet snow? We had it over the weekend. More is coming this week. I don't plan on going anywhere soon. I hate driving in the stuff. It's only January and I'm ready for April. Thank you for the pretty postcard.
Comment: Thank you for the frozen PC resend with all the decoration, and the precautions you took to help it get to me. Happy New year! I don't make resolutions, as I like to take action or make change when I see/feel the need vs waiting for one day a year to do that.

My mind is fine. I enjoy being slightly crazy. I try to treat my body well but my knee is fighting back. The joke will be on it as it is soon to be replaced.
It is hard, even for mature individuals, to survive the music industry intact.

Comment: Thank you for the lovely tea and washi! I loved the envelope you sent it in as welll! Can't wait to try those teas as the cold weather settles in. (Cold being relative, I'm from NB, Canada and here in Ulsan, Korea it's still 18C on 29 October).

Comment: Love the postcard and the book "So You Want To Talk About Race". You are the first person to recommend it - if I didn't go by the high ratings from internet. I have not read it yet, but like you said, it's on all the lists. I did read the great book by Ibram X. Kendi. I'm moving the book up on my list - thank you for the recommendation! xxMuggleMom

Comment: I received a postcard that I am assuming is from this swap. It was a Monet to Matisse postcard from Canade. The swapname wasn't on there, but was signed "Dee". If this is your card, thank you, it is quite lovely and you have beautiful hand writing. π
Comment: Thanks so much for the beautiful washi tapes. Been feeling so exhausted at work and living day to day during this time of the pandemic. But crafting has always been therapeutic π

Comment: Hi Dee! What a fun postcard! I appreciate all the decorations and how full of a message you put (compared to the all too common "Happy Swapping!"). I hope your brother's dog's bathtime went smoothly! I appreciate you asking about how I'm supporting my mental/emotional health this week--I came on a little road trip to decompress actually! I'm typing this up from a little coffeeshop in Indianapolis. Have a lovely weekend!
Comment: I enjoyed all the additions you added to the postcard. I think my post office would be angry and say no one would be able to read the address. I'm also very sorry about the racism, I thought Vancouver was more tolerant than where I am, unless you are French Canadian. Perhaps we can be pen pals or email pals to help you pass the time?
Comment: Hi, thanks for the teas! Yep, sent your resend out today. I have quite a collection of stickers, I need to start collages or postcards like you. Ppl always are surprised by snail mail lately. I'm good, got my shots so Im out and about!

Comment: Hahaha I loved your PC!! The joke was right up my alley, and the back was even better. :) I just celebrated our 6-month anniversary with my partner (yes we met *right* before quarantine haha) and re-watched Inception in a nearly empty theater with a close friend this past weekend. Your weekend sounds just as lovely! I love curling up on the couch with a good cup of tea! I've also finished second season of Umbrella Academy, I'm super enjoying it. Will have to check out Never Have I Ever. Hope you've thoroughly enjoyed your recharge time!
Comment: Woops, sorry about the weird rating. I mixed up my two Library Lovers. :S Your awesome funny card arrived on the perfect day because I was complaining to my sister about my cousin's wedding being a destination wedding, lol. How did you get so many stickers on this and still write a long interesting message! You are magical. I hope you get to do more things that make you happy and definitely volunteer at a library! Good luck and THANKS! :):):)
Comment: Oh my goodness, I loved all your places for this swap, plus your handwriting is just so lovely to read everything! I hope you have a wonderful week and can go to some of your desired places post-Covid-19. Stay safe!
Comment: Thank you for sharing your thoughts on the book. I actually read this book too in May. I actually started reading this book because of The Kiss Quotient by the same author. Did you read that yet?
Comment: I too have wondered if people finish the books they've left books marks in! I always used to assume that the bookmarks just got stuck into the book, but the book was finished, but I can only read one book at a time. My husband, though, will be in the process of reading 10-15 books at a time! So he'll have random books around with markers in them. So that left me thinking maybe those people DIDN'T finish the book! How sad is that?! haha I guess sometimes it's just fun to 'worry' about little things like that, right? I hope you do find a 'steamy love letter' in a book sometime. :) I swear there was a movie along those lines recently, I just can't think of the title of the movie. :(
Comment: Thank you Dee for the wonderful teas! I too am working on clutter in my life actually, like you physically and mentally. ALl that is slowing me down, ugh. You accomplished it! I have never seen that one tea brand, the turmeric is good for my muscles and fibromyalgia! Thank you very much!!
Comment: Hey! I can't see postage on your card anywhere! Did it fall off? Did I miss it? Are you magical? Thanx for all the deco. I love the manta ray sticker! My husband and I are both intrigued by boba-filled ice cream bars.
Comment: thank you for nice tea. This one is new for me. Some times ago I received David's tea in some other swap and I like it very much. So if you get it for me, I like private swap with you.
Have a nice day.
Comment: Thanks for the swap.
Though romances aren't usually my cup of tea, I put the Hoang book on my list. I think, and a now Psychologist I went to school with agrees, that I would have probably been diagnosed with Asperger's as a child... if anyone had known of it or gave a hoot in the 1960's.
Comment: Thanks so much for the postcard. The toilet paper graphic on the front of the card made me laugh. Also, enjoyed your note and all of the colorful embellishments.
Comment: Hahahaha, thank you for the great SomeeCards, I have a postcard book of their cards but none of these were part of it! I too am behind in writing to family, friends and pen pals - but I just can't stop signing up for Swaps, heehee. I hope all is well with you - take care and stay safe!
Comment: Hi - Thank you for the nice review of books. I like that you read a variety of books in May. I try to do that too, but sometimes I get caught in cycle of reading the same type of books. :-)
Comment: LOVED it all. Great notecards, stickers and Washi, but most of all LOVE the hysterical postcards. I will be using the Fatherβs Day one next weekend for my hubby. THANK YOU and blessings
Comment: Happy belated birthday! :) Thank you for the cool PC. I find eggshells fascinating, and I loved reading the artist's description of her work. I've been struggling with whether or not audiobooks count, too, so it was awesome to hear about that study. I'm currently doing the Book Riot Read Harder challenge, but since I listen to about a dozen audiobooks a month, I decided I would make myself read print versions for that challenge. I miss sitting and reading a physical book, but I'm a slow reader so I don't always make time for it. I'd never be able to do a 50 book challenge without audiobooks! lol
Comment: Love the tea you sent! Peach is one my favorites! And I love the ginseng. Korean Ginseng is supposed to be the strongest and most medicinal. I love the mini thank you envies also. And the way you decorated the inside on the card and the outside of the envelope just makes everything so special. Thank you for putting extra time into this beautiful swap for me! βοΈ
I think I may be the only swapper in Seaside. I haven't found another one yet. I did get matched with someone just a few towns down the coast from me! And I love these tea swaps as much as you, so I'm sure we'll get paired again! I hope so! πΉ
Comment: Thank you for the watermill postcard and nice update on your area. It sounds like you are going through the same things as we are. We're still waiting to see if we can open up some businesses, hopefully salons! I'm always happy to join your swaps! Thanks again!
Comment: And another card from you came in today :) Thank you so much for the pretty illustrated card in pinks are purples. Love it! So cute! As is your washi and decoration on the back. Happy mail, thank you! LOve from Nijkerk, Nina
Comment: Thank you for your red - orange - yellow card. Loved the quote on the front actually. I wish you all the best with dealing with these crazy times! I know from first hand about anti Asian attacks - I have 3 kids who are 50% Korean. Stay safe!
Comment: Thank you for the tp Canadian flag postcard. Gave me a giggle! I love the way you decorated the card too. I would love to go to Vancouver when we can travel again. I'll have to check conversation started when I'm stuck with what to write about. Take care!
Comment: Hi Dee! I enjoyed reading about that book you read and all your thoughtful answers to the questions. Thanks for the tea, too. Sounds like a very interesting book.

Comment: Thank you so much! I really loved reading about Earnest Ice Cream! That sounds so good! We have an ice cream store that is somewhat similar and your swap reminded me to pay a visit! I loved this swap so much both sending and receiving!
Comment: Thank you for the tea! You sent all the types of teas I love! I love this swap because of the variation of teas too and I agree that most of the time, they are not the best. Thank you for joining my weekly swaps!
Comment: Thank you, very much, for the lovely card and your nice letter.
I hope to take the train across Canada soon, and spend a few days in Vancouver at the end. I hope Earnest ce Cream is still there as I want to try something.
Sanity here remains stable. Video-chatting with our granddaughter gives us something to look forward to almost every day.
Comment: Thank you, Dee, for your April reading insights. I am particularly interested in the first book you mentioned, "Funny, You Don't Look Autistic." My brother (aged similarly to the author) is on the spectrum and I feel like reading this book would help to further inform my understanding of his experience. <3 Take care!
Comment: I enjoyed reading your thoughts about the three books, thank you for sharing :) I agree that audiobooks are handy, as you can "read" while doing everyday household chores. I can imagine a memoir type book works very well as audio book.
Comment: Thanks for you cute postcard! The corona crisis means for me that I have to work extra hard even though the business I work at is far from essential. Itβs just ridiculous and Iβm exhausted lol. Snail mailing is relaxing me but sometimes Iβm too tired to do anything fun at all! But a full mailbox cheers me up ;) stay healthy xo
Comment: I enjoyed again a nice weekend note! This time though it was opened by the US customs! I bet they didn't like the packet of drink in it! I am glad you stayed safe that weekend! Thanks!
Comment: Thank you so much for the great PC! It will be nice o meet with our friends again. Although some parts of Houston have begun to re-open we have decided to wait until at least the middle of June before we attempt to mingle amongst others.Have a wonderful day and stay safe!
Hugs,
Diane
Comment: Hi D, thank you for the leaf postcard . My library web site does have links to reading recommendations. I miss the library ...it's not really something I use but I think lots of others would find it helpful. I always have a running list in my head of to read books and I never have a problem finding something to read, all genres are good. Happy Spring swapping be safe be loved be healthy
Comment: I enjoyed reading about your weekend! It is fun to read these right now because you find out new shows or something new to do at home! Thank you for the Anchor note card as well!
Comment: Received PC today, sucks your trip got cancelled. Our daughter had a trip to Europe Europe booked for six weeks, cancelled. We were supposed to go to Netherland in Oct, not happening. We probably won't travel far for a couple of years as I came back pretty sick from our last trip and now this. Your card is beautiful and so is your handwriting, you will notice mine is not so neat when you get my weekend notecard 192 π€£
Comment: I'm so excited to try the guava!! I love fruity teas and I've never tried that kind before! I've never been a train to get headaches. I feel terrible for people who do! Thank you π
Comment: Thank you for the wonderful tea! I have been meaning to order some David's Tea. What flavors are your favorites? The guava tea sounds delightful. I look forward to trying both β€
Comment: u have the best handwriting I have ever seen...puts mine to shame...thank you for the much needed note cards. If u are low on store bought/handmade post cards...we could do a private swap...i hv a few store bought and a crap load of handmade ones...let me know...stay safe
Comment: Thanks for sharing your weekend with me! I love hearing about other people's houseplants... my thumb is not green but I've got a few that live. How funny to watch Contagion on netflix party!! Thanks for the extras, too!
Comment: Monday morning mail - very exciting! It was fun to read about your library and the Inspiration Lab, that's something a bit different. Thanks so much for a great swap and brightening my day! All the best, Tracy.
Comment: Wow, you are good getting this swap done. Bravo! I still haven't done mine yet. Need the pressure of that deadline bearing down on me. Thanks for the cute note cards. I like your neat handwriting. I do love your daily quarantine questions. I hope you don't mind if I borrow them for my daily Facebook check in. I love the ideas to keep yourself grounded each day. They're fantastic! All the best out west and stay safe! Cathy/Writercat
Comment: Enjoyed your letter very much. It sounds like quite a library! Thanks also for the drink mix. Immune support can come in handy about now. :) Stay safe!
Comment: Wow, Dee, thanks for the beautiful beetle card! I love rhino beetles. I saw a local species here in Georgia once, the hercules. This desert sticker is so cool, too. Thank you for sharing about your mother. My mother has been gone for 20 years, but I still often think of our troubles together. It's not easy. I try to be open to my daughter even when I don't understand her. Hope you're well! Hang in there and thanks again for a great swap! :):):)
Comment: Thank you for the lovely teas. Peach is a favorite! Sorry for the delay in rating. Apparently customs decided to examine the package--it arrived with green US tape that read examined. But now I get to have tea! Yay!
Comment: Thanks Dee! I looked up The Hand, The Eye and The Heart and it seems hard to get ahold of. Not that quarantine conditions are helping with that. I am a huge fan of Canadian YA and am I bit jealous you live in Vancouver where a lot of great writers live. Hope you're keeping safe, and thanks again. π
Comment: Thank you so much for your wonderful postcard and letter :). Also, youβre so kind to send items for my friendβs snail mail kit. I hope youβre safe and healthy!!!! Thanks for doing this swap with me :)
Comment: Thank you so much for your letter and cute stickers ! Loving the avocado washi tape π also your friend Rita sounds amazing. I love how you both worked it out together, maintaining the long distance friendship. I know how it feels.
I hope she makes it for the olympics Tokyo 2020 !
Comment: Thank you so much for a beautiful envelope - I love how you have decorated your letter! Thank you for making this swap special :) Have a fine weekend :)
Comment: The book by Ocean Vuong has been on my maybe to read list, so it was great that you wrote about his book. I am more interested in picking up this book and it is fresh in my mind again. Also I am excited to get to try ginseng tea for the first time!
Comment: This was very cute and I loved the idea of having the home smell like banana bread. I enjoyed reading your letter. I hope to be partners again soon.
Comment: Thank you so much for the beautiful card. I love how you shared your frustrations and solutions. Very powerful. You gave me good ideas for dealing with negative emotions. Namaste!
Comment: Thank you for your card! I found the info you sent me very interesting. I'm not really sure about Calgary's Asian community. We have a China town but it's pretty small compared to most, just a few blocks. I do know many of the apartment building there require Asian ancestry to live in them.
Comment: I love what you did with the theme. Mushrooms are one of my favourites, it's fun to get an ATC featuring them. π
I wish there were more Canadians to swap ATCs with, it'd be easier on shipping fees !
Comment: Thank you so much for your lovely letter. I keep my fingers crossed, that you stick with your goal to buy no make up for the whole year. I know how hard it can be. But you can do it!
Comment: Thank you so much for the card and all that you wrote! I've never seen a card so full of text before! :) Funny that we're so close too! I hope you survived this week's snowfall, and that you haven't drowned in the rain. The card did make it mostly unscathed, though some of the text got hit by a few drops - probably during delivery. Sounds like you had a nice time with your friend's friend!
Comment: Thank you so much, I loved everything about your card, it was beautiful, and the gorgeous stickers you included. That was sooo sweet thank you so much for the personal touches, it meant a lot and made my day special! Take care <3
Comment: I love your ATC and the story behind it! I hope everything gets better for you soon!
Thank you so much for the kind comments about my ATC and artwork! I really appreciate it! The time it takes to finish pieces is the part that has gotten easier for me. I used to take so long to finish a simpler piece, but now it take two or three days, depending on how much I focus on it.
Thank you so much!
Comment: Thank you so very much for the great card. I loved reading it. I have pretty much the same goals as you have. But for me it is fabric not make-up. And I have the same approach with books. π Good luck for both of us π
Comment: Thanks! This card is awesome! I like your reading goal. I set them for myself all the time. I am currently finishing a book about the crusades.
Comment: Thank you for the great postcard and note! I have never heard of that website, I am going to check it out! Thank you for adding the AIW elements as well!
