I'm 30 years old, and married to the love of my life and best friend for 6 months now. :)

We have a Pembroke Welsh Corgi puppy named Will who takes up an awful lot of our time and attention these days. He makes us laugh by doing silly things such as sleeping on his back with all 4 legs standing straight up.

I grew up in Philadelphia and I still live here. Yes, I have run the Rocky steps many , many times, since I know you're dying to ask! It amuses visiting friends and family more than I think it should.

I own a custom embroidery shop which I operate out of our home. My little business is growing and I'm thinking of renting a little retail space at some point in the future. The idea of this happening is both exciting and frightening at the same time.

Overall I'm an easy going, happy person. I am caring, compassionate and accepting. I have collected a diverse group of friends through the years and I am happy that my friends don't all look and dress just like me. I'm probably a little overemotional (I cry when I see other people cry...) so I tend to avoid confrontational, dramatic people. I function best in calm surroundings.

I'm really open to most music and I have a hard time listing favorites. If I had to list types of music, I'd say I like Indie rock, singer/songwriter, world music, folk & celtic.

Not in that order.

My favorite author is Jane Austen. As for contemporary books....I also like fiction stories about down-trodden people who overcome all odds to win in the end.

I love the diaries of Anais Nin too.

I like the Home & Garden TV Channel, as well as travel & cooking shows.

I've been trying to keep up with Lost but I'm losing interest.

My main crafts are sewing & quilting. I can follow patterns but I tend to deviate from them and make them my own. I LOVE combining fabrics together and I collect different patterns, colors and textures when I find good sales.

I also enjoy "repurposing" furniture or other items I find at yard sales and shops.

All kinds of tea (especially white teas & jasmine green tea) dark chocolate, caramel creams, collecting english ironstone, rearranging my furniture constantly, yard sales, thrift shops, healthy food, flower & veggie/herb gardening, peonies, interesting retro/vintage reproduction fabric, earth tones, jewel tones, vintage costume jewelry, taking walks around my neighborhood just to look at neat architecture and landscaping, honeysuckle, frogs, koi ponds, garden art, art quilts, glass buttons/embellishments, sea glass, cinnamon, clean fresh scents, handmade candles, slippers with frownie faces, handmade coin purses, perfumes made from essential oils

Licorice, pastel colors, leather, anime...eh that's about it, I'm pretty laid back and don't really hate anything.

Also...I have terrible contact allergies...any kind of product meant to be put on the face makes me break out in minutes.
