I am 55 years young, married, mother of 3,all grown up, so I am a grandmother to 6.
I am an avid reader, a book is always closeby. Photography is a passion of mine and have at leat 3 cameras close by at any time, one 35 mm loaded with b/w film and one 35 loaded with color film.I also have a digital, but I prefer my 35mm.I have entered in our county fair for about the last 10 years and have won several blue ribbons, not bad for a rookie with no formal training! I love to write short stories, poetry and sometimes I journal. Taken several writing classes and do enjoy it. I like to craft when time allows and have done more since I joined this site. I joined so that I could try making ATC's, but I haven't made one yet! I am an active Red Hatter and belong to the Red Hat Society and love it! This is a disorganization for women over 50. We wear red hats and purple clothing and get together for FUN!! Since we have been wifes, mom's, and all things to lots of people, we are taking time for ourselves, it is all about ME! LOL. I have traveled to several Red Hat events all over the USA and have met ladies from all over the worlds that I would never have met. My husband and I travel alot since we are retired. We buy and sell antiques and collectibles. He deals in old toys, farm toys, tractors and trucks and I deal in lots fo goodies. Some items specific to the red hat ladies, also. We go to shows and events all over the United States and been in most states. So you can see I have lots of things I like to to do. I collect teapots and teacups and saucers. I just finished a vintage cup and saucer exchange with some Red Hatters. I do love americana, also. My favorite colors are red and purple. I prefer jeweltones. I am kinda into a beach theme right now, but I am very ecletic in my home decor and like about anything country and primitive. So there ya have it, some things about me.

I love country music and have beeen a chauffer at our county fair for about 10 years. I have spent the day with Toby Keith, Daryl Worley, Blake Shelton, Aaron Tippin, Oak Ridge Boys, Trace Adkins, Tracy Byrd. It is a fun gig, this year will be my first with a woman entertainer, Terri Clark. I am an old rock and roller and could listen to that all day, too! Kenny G. is one of my favs, also.

The Devil Wears Prada, Terms Of Endearment, Steel Magnolias, movies that touch your heart are on my list. If I don't get choked up or cry, I think something just not right when I watch a movie.

Gray's Anatomy, Ugly Betty, Lost, Brother's and Sister's, American Idol, Dancing With The Stars, are some shows that I watch. I also like HGTV programs.

I love sewing, but the machine is a little dusty right now, hope to change that soon, lots of ideas in my mind. Painting is also a love that has been on the back burner for a while. My creative writing and photography are really passions.
