I am a hard working and dedicated middle school teacher.

Digital/Online teaching. Hmmm not quite the same as what we are accustomed to but a true test of our times. With this day and age of technology, we can only assume this was the pathway we were intended for. Middle school students are trying very hard to settle in the NEW NORM of online learning and so are we as teachers. We'll make this a day at a time.

I earned my Master's Degree in 2018 in educational leadership policy studies. My focus is to coach educators to provide the best opportunities possible for our disadvantaged learners.

UPDATE: Have just been accepted into the Doctoral Program at UTSA. I am in my second semester now and the COVID-19 hit so all classes will resume online. We can do this. Update: In the middle of the second semester of my doctoral program and am so grateful. Although this unexpected online path is different I am focused and determined. My goal is to retire from teaching in a year and a half from teaching and then focus entirely on my doctorate. It will all work out.

I enjoy making all kinds of crafts. I have found it to be a great stress reliever. Painting on canvas, ATC's, postcards are just a few of my favorites and I love learning new crafts.
