sorry! am back as of jan 3, 2009 after over a year! will be catching up asap!

I am in my mid 20's. I just qiut my 'real job' to go back to school so i can do something worthwhile with my life, something important. I'm getting to a place where i am happy in life. i'm complex, but i've learned to let people in. I think one of the best things you can do in life is share it with other people. does anyone else agree that the internet sucks out your soul? It seems to me that in this fast paced day and age personal contact is now taken for granted, and that makes me very sad. I have a great family, and even better friends. I want to in the near future learn to sew and cook. I'm saving my money to go to africa next summer and volunteer on a tiger santuary.

likes: polka dots, pink, vintage things, black, white, lime green, candy, atc's, anything handmade:) if you made it i will cherish it. I am a begining knittner, more of a yarn collector:) I love euphora, paper and stickers. On my to do list are learning to sew and cook.:) i covet lip balm and moleskins. My newest project is going to be a altered journal, for me!

dislikes: the scent of vanilla, scratchy wool and scarey anything, i am a wimp. I'm not the world biggest disney fan, but i love stickers, even mickey ones:)

Right now i am into muse, ravonettes, old school counting crows, pavement, decemberists, sufjan stevens....i am a music lover and will give anything a few listens. My all time favorite is REM:)

Foriegn films and documentarys. i hate romantic comedies...yuck

Intervention, anything on discovery health. i do however watch the hillls on mtv, i tell you that in shame.

i adore pictures, altered books, atc's, handwritten letters, anything knitted and crochted. I am in awe of people talents:) I tend to collect stuff. I love scrapbooking things but i dont scrapbook, i do make cards and am starting an alteredjournal:)

One of the favorite thing that i own are some hot pink granny squares i found at an estate sale. I'm thinking of making them into a scarf. I hope the women who was making them knows they went to a loving home.
