28th April 2016 - an update

Some of you will have noticed that I haven't logged in since the 15th April. Unfortunately I have been unwell with acute bronchitis and a severe viral infection, and been hospitalised. I am now home: I came home yesterday afternoon to a huge pile of personal mail (and bills and junk mail). I will sort through the received mail over the next couple of days; I am sure it will all make me feel better. I will be sending out personal messages to everyone who I have not sent out to yet and will spend some time over the next couple of days, while recuperating, making my ATCs and writing postcards out etc. These will get posted out as soon as I can get down to the Post Office. I'm hoping to be back to full speed next week; my energy is now returning; being at home today has definitely helped.

Hi there, I'm Jenny, jencats, and I live just outside of London, England.

I have swapped lots of postcards, letters and ATCs since January and have loved it, much more than last year. I have been efficient and participative, and might even decide to run a few swaps myself! I'm still looking at swapping postcards, letters, stamps and ATCs.

I have lots of hobbies of which many are craft related - knitting and card making, in particular making ATCs. But the hobby I spend most time on at the moment is stamp collecting.

I also collect postcards and have saved them up all up from when I was a teenager. I like my post cards to be written on as I like finding out about the people who send them.

I also love cats; I've always had a cat as a pet and now have 2, having lost one at the end of February 2015.

Things I like include anything to do with the sea and coast, animals, mountains, lakes, paintings by Lowry and Monet, books and bookmarks, hearts and unusual buttons.

Things I don't like include teas, I'm not a tea drinker, drinking black coffee and water only, sweets or chocolate and washi tape, even though the latter could be used for crafting!
