Comment: Wow! You did NOT make my day! :( Thanks for flaking what should have been a nice sweet swap. This swap was marked sent on 10/24, swapper hasn't been on since 10/30. I sent a pm 11/14/11.
When people advised you to make good on your previous swaps, then join in, I dont think they meant to host a swap and then not come back online to finish the swap
Hello Dear Geekasaurus, I would like to add my voice to PJ's and politely suggest the very same thing. First make good on your previous obligations, then plunge in to new waters. You will be happy and so will anyone who is lucky enough to get you as a partner:-) Best Wishes, MrsSawbones:-)
I happened on your profile by following a link from the swap you are hosting. May I respectfully suggest that if you want to be given a second chance by the community, the best way to go about it would be to take care of your "1's" first, and then join other swaps. People have successfully come back and been accepted into the community, but only if they do it the right way. The road you have set out on won't get you accepted by the best and most generous swappers here.
Your old swaps are quite intensive ones - a week worth of ATC's, a shrine, etc. They will require some work. It is not too late to drop at least some of the swaps you are in, in order to concentrate on taking care of your old swaps. Two of your partners have been on as recently as today.

@PJ and MrsSawbones, Thank you both for your advice about getting back into the swapping community. I truly appreciate it.
