Hi! My name is Laura. I'm a wife of 25 years & mom to 3 young adults. My daughter is a senior in college & I have 2 sons, one a freshman in college, the other is in 10th grade. I'm also a seamstress--alterations specialist and custom clothing. So I love sewing.

We live 20 mins. west of Pittsburgh, PA in a large developement. We're in the back, on top of a hill and the view is great.

I love cats-we have 5 (Wizard, Ki'en & Jubes are black long hairs, Oreo is of course black & white w/semetrical markings & Milo is a grey tiger runt that we found abandoned in the woods at 3 weeks old) The kids & I would have more, but DH won't let us. :(

Favorite books: anything by Nicholas Sparks, historical fiction.

I also enjoy gardening-flowers not vegetables. I do grow tomatoes for my hubby & catnip for my cats. I like life simple, low maintenance.

Favorite colors: soft, dusty shades; deep, dark primaries, not orange or fluorescents/brites.

I like necklaces, but don't wear bracelets. I do wear a Mickey Mouse watch, though. I like white not yellow gold.

I also don't drink coffee or tea, but I love chocolate & sweets.

Contemporary Christian, I will listen to most any MUSIC (not rap, screaming, etc.)& no country.

Sound of Music, To kill a Mockingbird, The Shawshank Redemption, Gone With the Wind, a good chick flick, not blood & gore.

Gilmore Girls, home decorating & improvement shows, CSI, etc. ER

ATC's, scrapbooking-I'm currently working on last year's vacation (cabin in the mountains/woods of WV), embroidery, quilling, beading, & of course sewing
