Classical (I drive my family crazy w/it!) Allison Kraus, good Irish music and of course, James Taylor.
The Kite Runner. The Road. The Bible. The Power of One. The Shack, Five Quarters of an Orange. Anything by Michael Ruhlman or Donald Miller.
Love Pride & Prejudice-have seen it about 5 times in the past 3 years. Pieces of April. Marilyn Hotchkiss Ballroom Dancing & Charm School, Phantom of the Opera,Chicago, Lackawanna Blues, old b & w's from the 40's & 50's and my two new favorites..Reign over Me w/Adam Sandler in a very serious role, and Rachel getting Married.
ER, 30 Rock, DWTS, Arrested Development. What Not to Wear. Mad Men. Oh and, the Weather Channel. But they are never right...
Handmade cards & postcards, feeble attempts at collaging and tags (not quite so feeble). I like to work w/things that are old/aged (like me!). ATC's in more of a vintage style rather than the bright ones with stickers and the like. I like to use old advertising, photos, print, books, emphemera. I tend to have a quirky sense of humor so strange things catch my eye. I try to learn new things to challenge myself (in art, not bullfighting or anything like that...).
I don't particularly like new, shiny, glittery or really colorful things. This goes for all aspects of my life, clothes, decorating, men, etc. BUT, if you work in those elements (shiny, etc.) that is okay. I am not too critical (unless you are one of those sticker on a piece of paper people).
In no particular order...Cooking, birds, flowers & gardening, entertaining, good but inexpensive wine. Really good coffee. My husband, my kids. Having all of my laundry done at the same time. I like to rate the day I receive items and like people who rate promptly, as I lets me know that you received my items. I like muted colors, vintage stuff, good art, textured papers and nice people ( I know, sounds hokey but my two good friends Susan and Elaine are both nice. And swap-bot junkies. So is my daughter.)

I noticed on the envelope from the Vintage Fashion ATCs that it was postmarked in Youngstown. I grew up across the line in New Castle, PA. Small world! Peggy B.
