I love ballads (classical to country). and David Bowie (lots of Bowie).

I also love ballets and operas (my favorite is Swan Lake because it reminds me of being a little kid)

I read a lot so the designation of favorites is difficult for me. My Favorite author is E.A. Poe, the book I've read the greatest number of times (43 and counting) is DUNE by Frank Hurbert, and the book I would take to a desert island with me is the Quran because I've never been able to read past the 20th page and I want to finish it before I die.

I actually sew quite a bit more than I knit. I love historical costuming and have constructed several victorian ensambles. I spent my college years clothing nekkid actors and have churned out costumes for the complete casts of Lion in Winter, Crucible, and a Man for All Seasons.

As far as knitting goes, I'm game for everything and have no alergies. I really love the colors green and purple but also enjoy orange and blue. Not much for red.
