I am now newly engaged! Woooohooooo! So that means I would LOVE anything wedding related! Especially magazine articles with ideas for a "casual vintage" themed wedding. Websites, tradition ideas or anything else you might think would help me plan this thing would be super fantastic! :)

I'm hooked on The Walking Dead, but I don't make much time for television other than that. On occasion I will watch HGTV or DIY channel.

I am not religious, but I am spiritual. I do not mind getting things that represent other peoples religions tho! I am very curious about Hinduism, Buddhism and other lesser practiced faiths in America.

I love to make things...all kinds of things! Just creating in general makes me happy. Right now I am doing a lot of sewing of basic things...pillows, quilts, etc. I love "smash booking" and any heart -felt crafts I can make for people I love. I also love to refinish furniture and take old things and make them pretty again.

I ride a baby blue Vespa named Rose. I call her my "Bethspa." get it? ;) I love it! There is nothing better than a beautiful day riding through Charleston seeing what's going on. I am an outdoorsy girl. I love kayaking, skiing, mountain biking, hiking, swimming, running, etc. But I am a tech geek too! I love my Apple devices and am an avid blog reader :) someday I will write one of my own. Maybe. If I ever find the time. I have three dogs and a cat. It's hectic and stressful sometimes but I wouldn't have it any other way. I also have a boyfriend of 4 years. He's swell. I think I'll keep him :) we are both in the United States Air Force and are proud to serve our country. I am a Combat Photographer and I love what I do. I think often how crazy it is that I get paid to take photographs and learn as much as I can about photography everyday.

I am a hopeless romantic, like anything that most people find odd or ugly, I don't want to waste my life not doing what makes me happy, so I just do it! I believe that a smile can change the world. I do as many "RAK" (random acts of kindness) as I can do in a day. I believe in Humanity and know that good out weighs evil. It's just a little hard to see sometimes.
