I am totally new to this and got introduced to this lovely site by a co-worker that has taken a liking to this swaping world, and I have to admit, I was a little jealous that she gets to send and recieve these little "presents" in the mail, because I love love love to craft, and I appreciate other crafter's ideas for my own inspiration! I am happily married and I have the most wonderful family. No children yet though! (just 2 furry friends) Hoping to add this as a new exciting addiction :)

I have been really into Francisca Battistelli's album "My paper heart," I really love her voice and the style of music that she plays. I enjoy a lot of accoustic music, Jack Johnson, Colbie Caillat, India Arie, Casting Crowns, Dave Matthews, the list goes on...... I do enjoy country music as well; Taylor Swift, Rascal Flatts. I really enjoy the older female country vocalists; Deana Carter's "Strawberry Wine" is a classic :)

I have to say that I have always been a "book nerd" and I am proud to say it. I just recently recieved a Kindle from my husband for my birthday, and I LOVE it! I didn't think I would becuase I love the feel of a true book with pages and bindings, but it has totally captivated me! Some of my favorite books/series include: Twilight Saga (yes, I am one of those), anything written by Nicholas Sparks (his writing is just absolutely epic, and makes me tear up every time), Fireflies in December, and I am just getting into Kristin Hannah's novels.

I really enjoy drama, comedy and good ol' Chick flicks! Some of my current favorites: How to Lose a Guy in 10 Days, The Notebook, The Wedding Planner, Perfect Stranger, Mr. Brooks, Step Up, Changling. I really don't care for "scary moveis ", or horror films, it's just not my thing.

The TV shows that I like to watch are, The Vampire Diaries, The Batchelor, The Biggest Loser, Criminal Minds, anything on HGTV, and TLC.

I like to do anything really, I have been scrapbooking for quite a while, I bead and really enjoy the "hobo" style beads and antique looking beads. I have just recently gotten a nice sewing machine and I love to use it as much as possible to quilt, makes clothes, and make projects to "spruce up" our house. The only thing that I haven't really gotten into is knitting/cross stitching (I'm sure I will though) I love home-made jewelry of all kinds!!

When I am scrapbooking I really love to use embellishments; flowers, rhinestones, dimentional stickers, I try to keep my pages simple, and clean with a little added touch Beading is really a fun thing for me to do because you can wear the things that you make! I enjoy anutque looking beads, and chunky hobo style beads. I really don't use any "yellow gold" findings, mainly "rose gold" and silver. I really am a beginner to sewing to any new simple project ideas you may have for me would be helpful!

Patterns I "Like" :
Polka dot, Flowers, Shimmer or Sparkle, anything really "girly"

Color schemes/patterns I don't like: Orange/Yellow/Brown/Lime green- those colors together just remind me of dated 70's.
novelty prints aren't really my thing either :), When I break down and have a "treat" I would prefer fruity candy over chocolate, call me crazy...I know, but I can't help it. I really love coffee and drink at least 1 cup a day, tea is also very wonderful, I suppose I have a bit of a caffeine addiction....
