Hello, hello and hello… Isn’t this exciting!! My name is Kerin but my family calls me Gigi, being a grandmother is my crown of happiness, a culmination of all the beauty, memories and journeys of my AMAZING family ♥️♥️♥️

I am recently retired from driving a school bus (special needs) 🚌💨💨 after 25 years … yikes … that ages me but doesn’t change how young at heart I am‼️ I miss my kiddos. I am sure they contributed to keeping me so young at heart and reminded me daily of what really matters in life.

Retirement took some getting used to, however, it has remarkably simplified this season of my life. Family, friends and crafting have become my beloved “Passion Projects”…..

I am blessed with an amazing family. Living in the beautiful Pacific Northwest, north of Seattle. I live with my husband (Bart) of 37 years and our Bernese Mountain dog (Aja). We have 2 living children - (Ashley and Chelsea) - a son (Joshua) who at 25 became our family guardian angel - 2 grandchildren ..AND.. 1 great grandson ……. life is crazy and we choose to walk it with our faith and thrive through our family approach of celebrating positivity. After all “life is not fair” it is how we approach it that defines us……..

Spending time with family and friends is my why. I love walks, I’m very water oriented - love swimming (not unusual to find me at the YMCA in the mornings acting like a fish). I enjoy watermelon and ice cream, cones dipped in chocolate ♥️ the crunchiness ♥️………yummy.

My husband and I are currently working on visiting all the lighthouses here in Washington state…. And WOWZA, let me tell you they are not all easy to get too‼️‼️

I have always been creatively inclined, I enjoy knitting and crochet, sewing, paper crafts and have become a certified Zentangle teacher. It would be very unusual to see me without something in my hands - crafting keeps me sane and out of trouble 😜‼️ My style leans more traditional - however- retirement has brought out and embracing the humorous and zany sides of me too.

Playing Cards are close to my heart, they are my way to celebrate Joshua…. I am always touched and DELIGHTED to see J♥️’s and JOKERS as well as other cool cards ad shapes. I enjoy sitting down with a cup of tea or coffee flipping through my binder with cards from all over the world, and the notes sent sharing swappers playing card journey!!!
