No fair to ask about favorites....I have not gotten to try all of the ones I want to try! ;D lol

I love stitching and crafting and painting and in general, making art. AND I love swaps and was thrilled when I found this site. Too cool.

When I get stumped I love to join a swap/block exchange/atc, etc. These swaps really help me bust creative blocks. And, I love to see what others out there are up to.

I live in North Dakota. since April 2011.

I lived in a rural MT for 12 of the best years of my life. We needed a change and moved to Denmark with most of my immediate family for 2.5 years. What a fabulous experience it was. My son is fluent in Danish and English. We had a European blast. We were in South Dakota for a short leg of our journey, though I still work there, during the school year. I am totally loving the places life is taking us.

I love books, bound, ebooks, doesn't matter. My favorite authors are Stephen King, Dean Koontz, Sara Paretsky, Sue Grafton, etc. I love mysteries, horror, and most recently, memoir.

I also LOVE ALL CRAFTING and ART books! I just do not seem to be able to get enough...the inspiration and techniques to try could keep me exploring for a long long time.

I listen to most kinds of music. I am not too much into hip hop or gangster rap. I love music from the last 6 decades for sure, and there is a special place in my heart for 70's and 80's 'cause that is what I grew up with. I also love movie music, whether Disney, or other musicals. My kids and I have always been car singers.

I am a movie snob. There are movies I absolutely refuse to watch because I think they are dumb and don't want to waste my time on them. I am not a fan of Adam Sandler, for example, except for, "The Wedding Singer," and, "Spanglish." Otherwise I am willing to try movies that look, 'intelligent' to me. I know....a movie snob. lol I have been known to judge too quickly, however, and try to tough movies at a friend or family members insistence and been pleasantly surprised.

Not a lot of TV, though I am interested the new OWN.

I save myself for Project Runway, The Closer, Law and Order and L&O CI, Medium, and I suppose Bones. I just like the good guys to win.

I guess I have gotten into Netflix..well, no guessing. We are addicted. I love to make while a familiar show is on.

Favorite colors--

Batiks, tone on tone, brights, hand dyes, kaffe fasset lately. I like interesting bright, rich colors. not too much for novelty-don't want everyone else's ideas in my head--want my own. :D

I like hand dyed fabrics as well. I create many of my own and appreciate the work of others. Shibori is awesome.

I like to give, but I also like to receive, thus, my membership in swapbot. I do like it when someone lets me know there are extenuating circumstances and a swap will be late, cause lets face it, life happens and so does mother nature.

I don't like it when someone says it's okay, they understand a swap will be late and then rate down. I live nearly 9 miles out of town. Sometimes the weather keeps me trapped in my driveway be it snow or floods. The postal service are not miracle workers and do not travel on impassable roads. That is the one 3 I received.

Be rest assured, if life legitimately makes you late, I will understand. Just keep in touch please.
