Description:
I always make one or two extra ATC's than required and keep them for swapping. I am sure you all do too! This swap is actually theme-less. You will send two different ATC's to two different partners. Standard ATC sizing applies and they must be backed with something sturdy enough to hold up. Embellishments are always nice and there should be 3 layers or more. No single layers, please! Hybrid ATC's welcome. Your ATC can be drawn, collaged, painted, have multiple layers (yes please!) and if you are using stickers, then please mat them, ink them, alter them and make them unique. Since you are swapping out ATC's you've already made, there is no need for a long wait time. Turn around deadline is quick - don't sign up if you can't make the deadline. Can't wait to swap with you! I do often keep a duplicate card because I liked how it turned out...so now I will have to duplicate a duplicate...could we extend the send out date by a few days? Please...hugs! Paula

Hi Asmodeus,

Your ATC base would be your first layer. If you glued or collaged, or painted on top of it, that would be a second layer. If you added an embellishment like a button, or ribbon or a bit of lace, that would be a third layer. If you add a sentiment or some wording, that would be a fourth layer. And so on. Quite quickly an ATC can have 8 or 9 layers adding lots of dimension and texture to the project. Keep in mind that it shouldn't be too bulky for mailing purposes. I've participated in swaps where I received literally, a page torn from the phone book and a two word message written in sharpie. That's not cool. Hope that helps!

So is that 1 ATC to each partner or 2 ATC's to each partner.

"2 different ATC's to 2 different partners" which means, two partners and you send two to each of them.
