I turned 42 sigh this year and am dealing with it fairly well. I am married to an amazing man -- he is truly my best friend. I work full time as an addictions counsellor at a christian recovery house. I love my job as I am able to bear witness to miracles each and every day. I am a Christian and my relationship with God is very important to me. We have no children and most likely will not be having any -- most days I am content with that fact -- although every now and then I wonder who will look after me when I am old (already am grey smiles). I love all sorts of crafts and have my own online shop on etsy.com -- where I sell a wide assortment of items. People are very important to me and I try to be a blessing to all that I come into contact with. I have made it a lifestyle to always try and better myself. I have learned that life is really about alot of choices and I try and make the right choices everyday. Love -- Compassion -- Empathy -- Forgiveness -- Joy are all words that I try to live by. I find that putting on an attitude of gratitude makes my life and my heart happy.

I like all Christian music as well as some country. Some of my favorites are: Third Day, Casting Crowns, Jeremy Camp, Reba, Garth Brooks, Allan Jackson, Faith Hill, Tim Mcgraw, Sidewalk Prophets, Mercy Me, Jeremy Camp, Adam Cappa.

I also enjoy listening to classical music == other than when I am on hold on the phone or in an elevator :-)

I read alot -- average over 100 books a year. I am a fan of christian fiction --as well as non-fiction.

I enjoy Jodi Picoult, Debbie Macomber, Janet Evanovich, Shirley Jump, Elizabeth Berg, Joyce Meyers, Beverly Lewis and fiction with an amish theme. I also read Karen Kingsbury.
