Happy to report that I am now an official "responder" to the cell therapy I received over the summer to treat stage 4 cancer. I'm still being monitored periodically at the NIH in Bethesda, MD. Hoping the good news continues! Details on my blog (see link above).

Favorite Books

Griffin and Sabine by Nick Bantock--love the artwork in these books!!! I collect used postage, and love all things postage-related.

Art History books--any and all.

I tend toward biographies and how-to books, but have enjoyed reading Harry Potter, Narnia, and others out loud to my children.

home life

I'm a home-schooling mom to five great kids ranging in age from 20 to 6. Oldest is now a junior in college. Next is a junior in a hybrid homeschool. Finally, three little boys that I educate at home (13, 8, and 6).

I'm a former mechanical engineer with a passion for art. I've been married since 1989 to an amazing man.

I believe inter-library loan is the best.idea.ever.

I am a devout Catholic with a strong devotion to Mary and many saints (Padre Pio, Maximilian Kolbe, JP2...). Christian artwork is welcome.

Comment: This is an awesome stamping on this ladybug atc. I like how the ladybugs are shaped plump. lol Neat idea and lotsa dedication cataloging stamps. One day I started stamping each stamp and putting in an album with title pages, so that I would know what I had with out having to look in all 800 totes too check for them. I think I got two pages done so far, rotfl :) Great ATC. Thanks!
