I'm 24 and working full time as a cashier while looking for a full time job.
I'm very friendly to anyone I meet and generally I'm a very upbeat and happy person. That said, when angered I tend to hold a grudge for a very long time. I dislike rude and obnoxious behavior, and I truly appreciate kindness and good manners.
I'm pretty queasy, so I really dislike anything bloody or gory. I'm not fond of creepy either. I scare pretty easy!
I love anything pretty and/or cute. If it's girly, I'll probably love it. If it's fluffy, I will cuddle it. Though, I'm not too crazy about kawaii. I used to be obsessed, but it doesn't really interest me anymore.
I have a furbaby named Wolfie, a very fluffy grey and white cat, who is very spoiled.
I tend to be somewhat thrifty. I hate to spend more than I need to on something and will wait for a sale or coupon to get pricier things. That said, I do love to shop and buy things.
I have a ton of hobbies, so I have to make sure to cycle through them all fairly often or projects never get finished!
I do a lot of knitting and crochet, as well as a bit of spinning on drop spindles to make my own yarn. I love jewel tones and neutrals, and I usually dislike rainbow or heavily variegated yarns. I'm currently trying to work through all of my acrylic stash yarn to make room for nicer yarns. No point in stashing yarn I can run out to the store and get in 15 minutes!
I love scrapbook paper and journaling cards. I have at least 5 different Project Life Core Kits. I love stationary in general and I'm always looking for new ways to use them.
I'm slowly getting into Filofax planners and Midori Traveling Notebooks to help keep me organized, but I'm pretty sure it's just adding to my stationary addiction! I have a Paperchase planner that I'm using to get into the habit before I spend the money on a really nice planner, and I made my own faux-leather traveling notebook cover.
I love rubber stamps and would like to have a nice collection some day, but I don't buy them too often. They seem a bit expensive for how small they are, so I'll only ever buy them on sale or with a coupon.
I'm not huge on stickers, but if they're nice I'll use them in my journaling. They aren't something I'll ever really buy for myself, but if I get them I'll certainly use them!
I've been doing a bit of cross-stitching and I'm now hooked! I'm planning on starting the Epic Pokemon Cross-stitch with all 151 original Pokemon on January 1st. I'm trying to convince myself that I can do it in a year if I work on it consistently, but I don't think it's going to happen :P
I'm hoping to get into sewing soon. I would love to make some clothes and quilts! I have the supplies to do some EPP, but it's being put on the back burner for now.
I'm usually willing to try anything new when it comes to crafting. I'm a "Craft All The Things!" kind of person.
I haven't been watching much TV lately. The only two shows I really keep up with right now are Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D. and Criminal Minds. I also plan on catching up with Sleepy Hollow, but I'll probably wait until the season is finished and just marathon the whole thing at once.
I adore anything having to do with the Marvel movies. At some point I'll probably start reading the comics, but I don't really have the money to get into that. My favorite Avenger (if I'm not allowed to say "All of them!"), is Thor.
Disney is always a good bet too. I love Disney movies with a passion! It's probably my most common movie theme night, along with Harry Potter and Marvel movies.
I used to be obsessed with Doctor Who, but I can't stand it any more. Anything TARDIS related is fine, as are the 9th and 10th doctors, but anything after that just bugs me. I'm hoping when the show gets a new show runner I'll be able to get back into it, but until then I'm steering clear.
I'll listen to just about anything that isn't obscene. I love upbeat music that I can bounce around to in my car on my commute to school everyday, but I also enjoy something a bit slower to balance it out every once in a while.
I mostly read YA Fantasy and Sci-Fi. I love books but I hardly have time to read at the moment, which is pretty depressing. I have a ton of books on my TBR list (a bunch of them are actually on my shelf too!).
Books and Series I like: Harry Potter, Immortals Series (And anything from Tamora Pierce's Tortall world), Robot Series by Isaac Asimov, the Giver Quartet (I still need to read Son though!), and I'm about to start reading the Lunar Chronicles by Marissa Meyer.
And a whole bunch of others that aren't in front of me right now.
I love deep jewel tones, pastels, and natural or earthy colors. I typically don't like neon, but it depends on what it is and what it's for. I love browns and neutrals paired with just about any other color.
I love pretty floral prints, but not the cartoony ones. Anything autumny is great, especially if it involves woodland creatures :) Any sort of plaid/gingham/checkered is nice too. I'm not too picky about patterns really, just as long as it's not middle-school-girly-doodle looking, if that makes sense.
Favorite single colors are purple, blue, pink, and brown in any deeper/jewel tone or pale/pastel shade, and deeper/darker shades of green (like forest, emerald, etc.)
Some of my favorite color combinations: crimson-gold (and maybe a touch of black or grey), deep blue-grey/silver, mint-pink-cream, black-white-gold, pink-grey, cream-teal-pink (maybe with some black thrown in for contrast!), pink-cream, etc.
I love postcards and photography. I like to get view cards of places I've never seen, especially if it's a picture you took. I love nature shots and animals. I'm not crazy about black and white or bizarre paintings, but I don't hate them either.
