I am a fiber and mixed media artist living in Aurora, CO (just east of Denver) with my hubby the photographer, 3 dogs & one kitty. i make art quilts, mixed media assemblages and shrines, as well as art dolls, atc's and pretty much anything else that requires adhesive and/or my sewing machine.

too many to mention!!!! i am equally likely to be listening to beastie boys as i am to the andrews sisters, bela fleck, ralph stanley, tito puentes, en vogue, ethel merman, vivaldi or billie holiday. thank god for itunes!!

my first love is my sewing machine (don't tell my husband!). but i have also grown to love gel medium, found objects & hand carved stamps. probably the coolest thing about working in mixed media is the "mixed" part. whatever i want to put in my artwork is fair game. which, of course gives me a great excuse to get more art supplies!!!

i am also a burlesque performer with a serious glitter/sequin addiction. if anyone is up for a pastie trade, hit a chicky up!!

shiny things, all colors, medical & scientific illustrations, birds, foreign languages, metal boxes, feathers (found not bought), ferns, rusty or weathered things, seed pods, game pieces, broken glass & mirrors, kindness, fortunes from cookies, vending machine toys, small bones, and sparkly beads

strong perfume, rudeness, disney princesses, olives, scrapbooking kits, intolerance & pickles

i'm taking a break from swapping for a bit, as my costuming business is starting to take off (yay). when i can commit time to trades, i can't wait to get back at it...until then, i'll just lurk around the forums when i should be working (teeheehee)
