I'm a stay-at-home mom with three kids, ages 8, 3 1/2 and 1 1/2. I'm originally from Vancouver, Canada, but now find myself living in Idaho, USA. I've been living in the States for 16 years now, but still find myself getting homesick once in a while.

I love reading and am open to almost anything. I started a book club last year and I've read lots of books that I would normally not choose. My favourite books are historical fiction and biographies of strong women. I'm even going back to school this fall to be a librarian just so I can be surrounded by books.

I love doing all kinds of crafts and like to try new things. Right now my favourite things to do are beading and sewing. I can crochet, do basic embroidery, and I've always loved paper and making my own cards. I really want to learn to batik, but I learned early on that hot wax and little kids don't mix so I'll have to wait until the kids are a little older. I never get tired of creating.

My favourite shows are House, Hell's Kitchen, Bones and recently I stated watching NCIS. With three kids, I find myself watching a lot of Dora and Winnie-the-Pooh.
