I'M TAKING A LITTLE BREAK FROM SWAP-BOT. It's summer which means I need to spend every spare moment on our garden. And I need to do a bit better job on finances right now. :-/ Those postal costs add up fast!

I HAVE SENT OUT ALL MY SWAPS. Please message me if you don't receive a swap you are expecting from me. Otherwise, I'll enjoy receiving my last few swaps until next fall-winter. Thanks for all the surprises!!!!

I'm a stay at home, homeschooling, crafting mother of four. I love to make softies. I make amigurumi as well as traditional sewn animals and sock animals. I love colour, crazy-zany stuff, and softies who go places. You can find the adventures of a caste of my characters on flickr. One of these days I will have time to blog more about them....when my kids aren't so young.

I like most kinds of music. My favourites are Newsboys, David Crowder Band, Dave Matthews. I also like cajun, blues, zydeco, some jazz, Big Band, international, country. It's kind of hard to think of much I don't like. Unfortunately, I spend most of my time listening to Signing Times, Dora Explorer, Little People, etc. Sigh

I love to read--mysteries, nonfiction and craft books such as amigurumi, sock monsters, sock animals, embroidery, cute animals.

We don't have television in our house but I never miss NCIS--I check it out via the internet later in the week. I think Abby would be a great swapper.

I haven't been to a movie at the theatre in seven years--too many kids, not enough baby sitters. I am horribly out of date. Movies I've liked: Enigma, Chinese Box, Gigi, Meet Me in St Louis, Jumpin Jack Flash, So I Married An Axe Murderer....

Aha! Now this one is one I can really write about. I love to craft. I crochet--afghans and amigurumi. I sew: softies. I do a bit of drawing. I embroider--mostly tea towels. I've never done much with clay, jewelery, glass. I love making up stories about the softies I make. I've got a giant slew of characters already. I take them out with us for adventures at the store, doctor's office, park, etc.

I like anything fun, zany, colourful, playful. Chocolate is a nice gift any time of year. :-D I like toys--love toys! Anything crafty is nice.

I love just about any animal: bears, dogs, cats, bunnies, birds--especially crows. I love bright and cheerful. It's hard for me to think of anything I would not like.

I'm not real big on sweet, Victorian, old-fashion, shabby chic, etc. I am a Christian so I prefer not to get something like a voodoo doll or lips that drip blood. :-D That said, I won't be offended by anything I get so no worries. I don't drink coffee.
