I like papercrafting-rubber stamping, cardmaking, altering.

I also like to crochet. I enjoy making little things that can be finished fairly quickly, but I have made an afghan as a gift for my brother, many scarves, a few cotton washcloths and some fingerless gloves.

I have been married for 8 years to my best friend. We have no children yet, although we would love at least one someday. I work as an administrative assistant by day, "artist" any other time. I love swaps and I love getting quality handmade things in the mail.

*Ephemera--old ticket stubs, old postcards, old books to cut words out of, mostly vintage ephemera...etc....

*Different kinds of containers (old stoneware bowls, refrigerator dishes, Longaberger baskets, jars, wooden bowls and boxes, cigar boxes, old picnic baskets)

*Crochet yarns (please no Red Heart brand)

*Primitive antiques (mostly wooden things like butter paddles, butter molds, wooden spoons, potato mashers, etc.)

*Sparkly embellishments I can use on cards or altered items (Stickles, sticky rhinestones, embossing powder, glitter pens) Please no stickers !!!

*Echo Park 6X6 paper pads-Summer Days, Victoria Garden, Country Drive, A Walk in the Park Collections

*October Afternoon paper pads, and yes, the stickers to go along with the pads

*Anything Tim Holtz related

*Embossing powders-any color/metallics

I have a weakness for (current) magazines. I absolutely LOVE them! Woman's Day, Family Circle, All You, Creating Keepsakes, The Rubber Stamper, Somerset Studio, Paper Crafts, Country Living, Country Home, Real Simple, Cosmo....... I think I may need counseling..... ;)

I like shopping at thrift stores, yard sales, flea markets, antique consignment shops, auctions, Big Lots, TJ Maxx, Marshall's, Tuesday Morning and the dollar stores.

I do not care for:

*candles or lotions

*country cutesie crap

*candy

*lacey crafts

*bears, clowns, mice, bugs, figurines, skulls, Disney, cats, dogs and other animal stuff

*plastic canvas

*offensive/undiverse images, words, etc

*knee high socks or toe socks

*the colors purple, bright yellow or Christmas green

*vintage victorian images (people mostly)

*flavored coffee or tea bags

*painted shirts

*stickers/sticker sheets (unless they go with the paper pad collections as stated above in my favorites)
