My name is Natalia and I live in St.Petersburg, Russia. I used to work as a programmer, and then on Apr, 21, 2011 was born my little son, Vladik, so now I'm stay-at-home mom. I love travelling, photography, reading and meeting people.
I collect postcards with:
sailing ships
musical instruments, scores and people playing
bicycles
churches, monasteries and castles
stained-glass windows
map cards
mothers and children
I enjoy art postcards and look forward to art postcard swaps. I'm especially interested in medieval art, book miniatures, in biblical plots in art of any period. I also will be glad to receive cards of american artists. I am equally happy about naked and stamped cards or cards in an envelope or greeting cards as well.
I live in Russia, where the post is terribly slow. Fortunately for me, it is slower inwards than outwards, so my postcards travel average of 20-25 days, as postcards for me can travel as long as 40-50 days. So you can only start worrying if it's more than a month after swap deadline. But eventually they arrive, and I give ratings asap.
Please don't send me cards that you wouldn't send to a child: erotic, agressive, pin-up, ad cards, cards with obscene language.
Originally, I didn't think that I'd swap anything besides postcards using this site and post of Russia, but eventually it happens more and more often, so here's some things besides postcards that make me glad:
coins, especially the ones that are out of circulation, like old european
fridge magnets (unbreakable ones, as my son adores them too)
cookie cutters!!!
black tea, bags and for brewing
child-related items (Vladik is 80 cm and 12 kg now - will update this from time to time)
some traditional pieces of craft from your country

Ah! Gotcha. I really liked the picture as well! Thanks for your help =)
I guess the quote could have been the translation but since it seemed unrelated to the picture, I assumed it was not? If you can pm me your email address, I could send a pic of it =) thanks!
