It all started years ago when my kids and I discovered Postcrossing. We had fun sending postcards and whatnot. Then we moved and forgot about it. Then recently my daughter decided she wanted a pen pal. I remembered that site and they had a forum, so I looked into it. That led me to swapping and such. I looked more into it (googled it) and found a blog that mentioned this site, and here I am. :)

My favorite books of all time (I've read so many times that I have them memorized) are:

Gone With the Wind - Margaret Mitchell

The Duke and I - Julia Quinn (also the 7 other books in the series)

I love reading, recent books I've read are "Gone Girl" by Gillian Flynn, "Dark Places" by Gillian Flynn (I'm really liking her books). Am always looking for new stuff to read. :)

Most of my time is spent being Mommy (I'm a stay at home mom) and now that my kids are starting to get older and developing their own interests, I'm starting to develop things I like again too.

I have a ton of things that I dabble with (crochet, tried knitting, I love to sew but am sporadic with it). I used to love to draw (life has taken away a lot of creativity, so I don't draw much anymore, though I'd like to). I do a lot of cooking and baking, I love trying new recipes, my kids hate it but I love it!
