I am 42 years old, married with two young children. We also have three dogs and an aquarium. I love animals and would have more if we could.I work fulltime as school social worker.

My style is fairly laidback. I like florals and natural,country,shabby chic decorating as well as paisley but not frills and lace.

Favourite music I have a fairly eclectic taste in music. I enjoy classical music, particularly Rachmananinov and Dvorjak. I enjoy music from the 60's.I have recently discovered Lady Antebellum and The Band Perry and I enjoy their music. I like some folk music, Irish music and bagpipes.I also enjoy contemporary artists. I do NOT like metal in any form.

Favourite books I am a voracious reader and very much enjoy crime novels. Some of my favourite authors are Elizabeth George, Lee Child, Kathy Reichs and Jeffrey Deaver. I also enjoy travel novels, biographies and fantasy. Lord of the Rings, the Hobbit, the Narnia Chronicles, the whole Harry Potter series and the Twlight series are among my top reads. Two of my all time favourite books are Jane Eyre and Skallagrygg.

Favourite movies.

I enjoy action, sci-fi and disaster movies. I also love animated movies. Twister, 2012, The day after tomorrow, James Bond ( all of them), Lord of the Rings, The Hobbbit and the Harry Potter movies are all at the top of my list of favourites. I don't really enjoy court room drama and I cannot watch horror movies. I do not watch much TV but enjoy series like CSI, Criminal Minds and Bones.

Hobbies

I enjoy gardening and love roses,peonies and ferns. I enjoy travel, with Paris being my favourite city. I craft and I paint, mostly watercolour landscapes.I have recently discovered working with clay and polymer clay. I crochet, sew toys with felt and enjoy making and collecting miniatures, so any dollhouse item ( 1:12 scale) would be appreciated. I also collect miniature perfume bottles. I have recently started swapping ATC's and FB's.
