Hi Everybody, and welcome to my profile!
My name is Heidi, and I´m 37 years old. I live with my husband, Mikael, and our two wonderful kids. Jonas from november 2014, and The newest addition to our family is our daughter Josefine from febuary 2019.
I teach at the local school, and i am very passionate about my job. I teach danish, german and music. Most importantly I teach dyslectic children and manage the school library.
When i don´t grade papers, i am usually in the kitchen - i love baking! Or I am reading or playing with my kids - which is my all time favorite activity.
We love travelling, and have been many places around the world (our favorites for now are Germany and USA)
Although I love travelling, I am absolutely in love with Denmark, where I have lived my whole life. If you are looking for any danish specialities (food, candy, souveniers, postcards, and...) please let me know, and we can set up a private swap
colors I guess my favorite colour is orange (and fall/autumn colors in general), but I love many colors:) I try to keep our home happy and bright, so we use a lot of orange, lime green and yellow in our house. (except for december when everything magically turns red:))
Books I also really enjoy a good book. I read a lot of chick-lit . Favorites are Lindsey Kelk, Sophie Kinsella, Marian Keyes and others in the same style. I love to sit down after a long day and just switch off all contacts and relaxe with a good chicklit-book:)
Stephen King is my favoriteauthor. I have read all of his books (several times), and i´m still as scared as the first time i read them!
movies I love watching movies, but I am not really a "fan" of any movies or actors. . I am crazy about older movies like "the goonies" and "the neverending story", oh and "back to the future":)
Please think of this as inspiration and not a shoppinglist - I love to receive thoughtfully selected mail from my partners:)
candy and chocolate ( I have a separate list below, but I am exited to try most things:))
hot chocolate (yum yum)
I love coffee!
I do not collect stamps, however, if it is possible for you to put real stamps on your envelope to me, I would be very happy, since I put all of the envelopes in my smashbook:)
Anything for my christmas journal (I love receiving christmaspapers, stickers, embellishments and such all year round!:))
Christmas and/or winterthemed scarfs/hats (both for indoor and outdoor use. Homemade would be veeeeery welcome:). Also for my kids . they love it.
I collect snow globes with a Christmas / winter theme
Christmas items. anything really... Ornaments, wrappingpaper, candy, boxes scrapitems and such stuff. I am crazy about christmas:). If you sew christmas-items like potholders, dishcloths, tablecloth... I would love to receive one:)
notecards for special occations or with my likes. Especially seasonal, birthday, friendship. I prefer fun/happy/vintagelook over artistic/"pretty view"
chick-lit-books. I love reading chicklit (in english!) I buy many books used, so used would also be very welcome here:)
Pringles with funny flavours - would love to try any of them, especially Pickles, cheeseburger, curry, bacon, honey mustard, habanero (we do get the most common tastes ones in Denmark though)
adresslabels with my adress
halloweenstuff - Halloween is not really a danish tradition, but I celebrate it anyways, and would love anything halloween-themed.
springles for cupcakes (especially seasonal like christmas, halloween, spring...)
things for wrapping presents (boxes, wrapping paper, bags, tags...) I love to wrap presents, and I can use both for christmas and for birthdays (I would love something to wrap toddlerboy presents with:))
Roadtrip related bits and pieces for journaling
I love seasonal earrings for christmas and halloween (I prefer small ones) but otherwise i do not wear earrings (or jewelry in general...)
useful rubberstamps (with either my likes or with general sayings like "hello", "thank you" or mailthemed.
Postcards/greetingcards/notecards suitable for birthdaywishes and thank yous (but please no random cards!)
I love receiving thoughfully decorated envelopes
washitape and samples with following themes: books, cats, toddlerboy amd girl, baking, school, halloween, fall and christmas
for my husband Mikael. He would also love a treat, and I am just as happy to receive something for him as for myself:) He loves spices and seasonings. He barbeques a lot, and both my kids and myself loves it, when he is on Dinner-duty. Borh my son and my husband are big hockeyfans, so anything hockeythemed for them would be greatly appreciated! Sometimes I feel like the hockeyrink is our second home. My son plays since he was 2.5, and we spend many hours there each week. We also watch all the local games.
anything made with inspiration from my profile.
I would be much happier to receive one item in good condition than 5 items in poor quality.
I would love to get all sorts of candy/chocolate - i love trying new things!
Some of the things that I have tried and really love:
*anything pumpkin spiced. Especially cakes and cookies.
*salted caramel anything
Dorina chocolate with Jaffa (dark chocolate with jaffa cake inside, yum! I think I received it from Slovenia?)
sour/lemony sweets (but please not hardboiled)
reeses chocolates. Especially fast break (!!!) but anything really:)
Betty crockers: Reeses dessert bar mix or any other special bake mix (especially halloween/christmasthemed)
any chocolate with berry or fruit taste
i love things with fruit/sour flavour (esp lemon - yum yum!), as well as salty licorice.
If you are in Norway I love Troika trippel nydelse! (And urge-soda, but I guess that will not be suitable for mailing:))
anything with pumpkin spice flavour! (muffinmix, cookies, cakes...
I do not eat hardboiled candies, or chewinggum, because they hurt my teeth) also I am really not crazy about mintflavour or raisins.
For some reason I have received some of these items, even though they are on my "no thank you - list". I am sorry, but most of it will just go straight in the trash. ( I do not mean to sound ungrateful, but I truly have no room for it - my two kids take up all of our space)
anything religious
tea
hard boiled candies and chewinggum
Please NO make up, beautyproducts, jewelry (exceptions above), lotions, nailpolish and similar
please no random scrap/paper/stickers/postcards/quotes/magazine cutouts/similar unless they are related to my likes (Unless I am in a "random envie swap" or similar, then the above is of course just fine!:))
I also have no need for souveniers, keychains, cat toys, erasers, pencilsharpeners, kawaii and random bits and pieces (I really have no room or use for them, sorry)
I always send out on time, and usually shortly after partners are assigned.
I re-use envelopes.
Post to and from Denmark is very reliable (sometimes the weather can cause a minor delay, especially in winter).
Please notice, that I deliver my mail in a small post"office", and I can not guarantee, that my envelopes will be stamped on the same day as I deliver it to the postoffice! (They do not stamp it untill it arrives to the mainquarters of the postalservice).
If you for some reason are not happy with something I sent you, please let me know. I aim to make my partners happy, and I really enjoy putting a lot of thought and effort into the things that I send out.

Thank you so so much for the wonderful angel package that I received today. Everything was so thoughtfully chosen for me and I just love it all - especially the GORGEOUS washi labels, the big green tag and the hot air balloon bits and pieces. You really didn't need to do this and you have gone above and beyond - and totally made my day. Thank you again, Suzi
