Hello, my name is Ellie and I'm from England. I'm very shy and introverted (INFP/INTP Myer Briggs type) so joining this website is a little intimidating... Hopefully meeting some lovely people will make this experience seem less daunting!

Currently I am a student studying A-levels in Biology, Maths, and Physics, with an EPQ specialising in the vision of cuttlefish. Sadly however, I am on prolonged medical leave so my studies have been put on pause until I am well enough.

In the future, I wish to study biology at university and go into the research sector. I love all the sciences but biology is a passion of mine, particularly anything about marine animals.

In my spare time, I love to read. Fantasy novels are my favourite but I enjoy pretty much anything. On the artsier side, I love drawing and making things. I keep a journal which is basically an excuse to buy more and more cute stationary and stickers! I would love to be able to gush over pretty sticky notes with a pen pal.

Pretty much all 80's music! But I enjoy the 60's a lot too. The Clash, AC/DC, Guns N' Roses, The Police, David Bowie, The Smiths, The Cure, Sonic Youth, Jimi Hendrix, Led Zeppelin

I also have a soft spot for Disney songs and ABBA!

I am always open to listening to new genres of music, so send me a playlist of what you like and I'll give it a listen!

I LOVE Harry Potter! I grew up with the books and still haven't let go. I'm a fellow Gryffindor, with Ravenclaw as a close second. I enjoy both series and stand-alones. As I said previously, fantasy is my favourite genre, but I love sci-fi, mystery, and some contemporary.

I'm currently on the hunt for good new adult books since I still read mostly young adult fiction. Poetry is another genre I'm interested in but haven't read as much as I would have liked to.

Thor: Ragnarok is my favourite movie of all time but I love every single Marvel movie out there. I watch them frequently and enjoy talking about the Marvel universe with other fans.

Disney movies also go down well with me! My favourites are Tangled, Moana, Beauty and the Beast, and Peter Pan.

Brooklyn Nine-Nine is my favourite show so I've seen it far too many times! I also love The Unbreakable Kimmy Schmidt, Sex Education, The Big Bang Theory, Friends, The Umbrella Academy, and Stranger Things.

I love Marvel TV series too, like Daredevil and Jessica Jones. Recently I watched Titans which was a great series for me to watch DC for the first time.

Colours - Pink is my absolute favourite!! All Pastels, yellow, purple, white, blue

Themes - Moon & stars, woodland, fairy tales, plants, mythology, vintage, handmade, illustrations, fairies, teddy bears, halloween

Characters - Care Bears, Winnie the Pooh, Sanrio (My Melody!! Little Twin Stars, Cinnamoroll), Pusheen, Rilakkuma, Moomins

Animals - Dogs!!! (i have a yellow labrador and shes my best friend!) Cuttlefish (I LOVE them), all marine animals, cats, bunnies, bears, whales, turtles, bees, bats, hedgehogs, ladybirds, foxes

I also love handmade postcards, even if the swap says otherwise!

DISLIKES - Although I really wish I liked these, I don't like tea or coffee. Apologies!
