I am a retired Realtor now a mixed media artist, active on several Yahoo sites. I love to paint in acrylics and watercolors, collage, make shrines from polymer clay (a la Laurie Mika), make atcs, decos, alter books, make mini books, journals...you name it! I live in North Idaho with my husband, 3 rescued dogs, 1 rescued cat and 3 rescued birds (French parrot and 2 cockatiels). A friend and I founded our local animal rescue. I have 3 children all older with their own children so I have 8 grandchildren. I love to knit, crochet, walk, garden and play with grandkids and, of course, make ART!. I live in the woods in a very rural area AND I'm leaving for Artfest in 2 days!!! YEAH!!! My art work has been published 2 times in Stampington Memories and Stampington Gallery which was so exciting! Oh, also love to write and am working on a memoir. I love to combine writing and art. Also love the bizarre..love Zetti, trees of course,..my taste is very eclectic...love the exotic/all ethnic/colors/patterns/Indian...just not cute or a lot of vintage except Steampunk which I adore. I do not have any interest in sewing, fabric or sewing goods. Altho I am a senior, I am a cool senior who stays current on latest techniques, styles, etc....in other words I don't want polyester or anything that someone might think an "Older" artist might be attracted to...make believe I'm really 25 yrs old! LOL! I love found objects, am addicted to pens, esp. Copic, Sakura and Pitt...have every color of Sharpie! I love H2Os, Stickles, Roxxs, PearlX powders, watercolor paints in the tubes, beads, 140 lb. hot press watercolor paper...so much stuff...so little time!
