Hello! My name is Crystal King. I'm a wife to a wonderful man and a mother to three amazing children (a 7.5 year old boy and twin 6 year old girls). I'm a middle school theatre teacher and an actress. Life is very busy but very blessed!

I live in the Dallas, TX area.

I have 2 kitties; Mulder and Rougaroux.

My favorite season is summer because I am a teacher and we get the summers off, haha! I love my students but I also love the freedom that comes during the summers. Fall is definitely next!

I absolutely love to read! My favorite non-fiction book is Unbroken by Laura Hillenbrand, and Pet Sematary by Stephen King for fiction.

I am currently re-reading the Harry Potter series as I listen to the podcast “Binge Mode: Harry Potter” with them. I’m on Goblet of Fire.

I enjoy listening to podcasts! I try to alternate between fiction and non-fiction. Right now I'm listening to "Binge Mode: Star Wars," which is all about the Star Wars series. Before that I listened to "Bad Batch." So fascinating!

I love watching movies. My favorite genres would be comic book action (I love all the Marvel movies), science-fiction, and horror. My favorite horror film is Texas Chainsaw Massacre. I love the Star Wars series, as well as the Indiana Jones series.

I'm a diehard Stranger Things fan! I have watched every episode wayyyy too many times to count. I'm also currently watching The Mandalorian.

If I could travel anywhere in the world, it would be anywhere with a nice beach. As busy as me and my husband are, we like to be able to lay there and do nothing. No expectations; just relaxation! But I’ve traveled to several countries and enjoy traveling, so really, anywhere! Heaven on earth is in Cayman Islands for me.

My favorite holiday is Halloween. I enjoy the darker side of things in life, but I don't look or appear like I would like spookier things. As I mentioned earlier I love the horror film genre, I love reading horror/thriller books, and I love going to cemeteries and taking pictures. There is so much beauty there.

My favorite colors are black, purple, and sparkles (haha).

Since I am an actress as well as a theatre teacher, I enjoy anything to do with Hollywood and Broadway.

Music is my life! You can find my radio station tuned to Sirius Alt Nation channel 36. My favorite bands are Arcade Fire, The Strokes, LCD Soundsystem, AWOLNATION, Foster the People and Fitz & The Tantrum (to name a few).
