I am 40+ year old chick who has decided to spend this new decade searching for my passion. I have been creative all my life but over the years dedicated more of my day to working and raising a family than finding the one thing that I really want to do when I grow up. So the journey begins..... I've been setting aside time everyday to be creative. I have started making and swapping ATC's which has led me to learn how to make paper, image transfering techniques and various collage techniques. I love to try anything new, artistically.

By day I own and operate a small art and frame gallery in NJ. Evenings and weekends are spent working on our own little farm. We've started with chickens and someday will add horses. (perhaps even a pig!) Gardening in the spring and summer, crafting in the fall and winter.

I love all things acoustic.

have been reading alot of short stories lately, Joyce Carol Oates, mostly. Love monday afternoons when my weekly edition of the New Yorker arrives.

Lately I've only watched Law & Order, any style, any day. Repeats and all. I know, pretty lame..... But I also have NetFlix, so I've been catching up on some good indie films.I'm now addicted to Criminal Minds, too. Luckily for A&E we have Criminal Minds almost every night of the week!

I love making minatures: dolls, furniture, art. I also love to sew and quilt. Collaging and making ATC's. I'm interested in altered art and am starting to try altering books. A little bit of beading and doll making. I like to try just about any type of craft. Lately I have also been making paper and small books. I would love to do a journal or altered book swap.

I love anything OLD, OLD, OLD!!!! Fabric, paper, photos, stamps, advertisements, magazines, books, interesting STUFF. Anything funky, folk arty, macbre, colorful or interesting. I've been doing quite a bit of collaging, lately. Experimenting with new techniques in painting and image transfering.

If you are sending me things from another country: I would love any newspapers/book pages, magazine ads. Anything that looks cool and I could use in collage.

I would love any small pieces of paper, fabric, brads, etc. I'm not much into cute stuff, I tend to cut the head off of tinkerbell and use her body on an ATC, but I would appreciate just about anything else. I am very easy to please.

Old black and white movies, including horror (especially Alfred Hitchcock), Tim Burton, and period movies, i.e.: Young Victoria, also anything foreign and independent.
