I'm a Nan of 4 now, 3 girls & the last one is a boy. Both my sons are married to lovely ladies. Slight update here now as one son seperated couple years ago and is now with a lovely lady and I have gained 2 for granddaughters and a grandson. They are a joy to spend time with.
Jimmy my Pappilion is nearly 10 now, still tons of life in him. Got him a ball pit recently so all his toys are in there. I return them there each day and he has a ton of fun getting a ball out playing with it and then going back to find another one. The tiny squeaky ones are his favourite. He likes small treats especially chicken. His best friend is a beautiful large golden they have lots play dates & when one stays with the other for a few days they sulk when they go home as they miss each other.
Still my main method of cooking. Discovered a gluten free thermomix lady that I'm following and learning heaps from. Silcone is the best to cook with as gf does not stick to it.
Not into fairies or Halloween anything.
Caffeine, any smellies including popouri, I can't have smells or chemicals around me & will even react to things that are posted from a smoking home so please if you smoke be aware of this.
I also don't wear jewellery.
Gluten Free.
Scrapbooking: Started scrapbooking again, working on finishing the eldest granddaughters album before her 21st next year. Also have an album for my dog Jimmy and another to do of my trip to Gold Coast for my 60th. So I will be needing to source more decorations, borders, diecuts, paper in acid free for these 3 albums then I will start on the rest of the grandchildren.
Really wanting to get back into junk journaling and bookmaking again. I enjoy it just need to find a reason to make them. Like the old look and items you use to create that look.
2023 I'm doing bible journalling so using up a lot of white cardstock to print images that I purchase online. I love the girls you can get that are simple often just head and shoulders sometimes with flowers in hair and not always colour. Prayer ones are harder to find. They are just perfect to use. Need to find more trees that prints multiplies to a page or are stickers as have used up all the ones I have. Nature just has so much you can use and as I have a park behind me that I can listen and watch the animals from my home or walk through I just love it.
Not doing much crochet or kniting, my shoulder was stopping me and seem more interested in scrapbooking now.
Reading other profiles I realised many of you do quite detailed ones so here goes. Although these are my diagnoses & I'm aware of the way they affect my daily living I try not to label myself with them when possible, not wishing or speaking bad over myself rather I try to speak good future as much as possible. Yes I'm human & fail often.
Fibroymyaligia Depression PSD Anxiety Aspergers Learning difficulties Sight issues with trying to focus to read a book so using audio books. Collasped disks in back from broken tail bone. More damaged disks and foot which now have cortisone injections to hold pain at bay. Sinus Asthma
My home is chemical free & that includes all perfumes etc I use goats milk soap which I feel is badly named as its not soap in the sense most know & that's all I have for cleaning myself with, crystal deodorant, olive leaf mixed with water for mould & equipliptus mixed with water for cleaning. Yes I react to even vinegar.
Allergies also spring over into food which is fantastic when I stick to it for my body, but can feel stifling at times so I break out & then pay for it. As I say I'm only human. Gluten free.
UPDATE: Not a lot of changes, just added more arthritis to my list that is limiting more of what I can do. Finding a few other products that I can use now, the scent seems to be the main issue. Loving hemp from the body shop at present as my skin gets super dry over winter.
I enjoy being part of Salvation Army and apart from the crochet I do for them, I go over to help on Thursday mornings and Sundays is worship time.
Water is my main drink. Coconut water/milk I use too. I enjoy herb teas and when I can find a chia latte that is less that 3% caffeine I enjoy it.
