Hi! My name is Susan. I'm a 53 year old single mom to 3 teenage girls! (Yes, they keep me very busy and there's way too many hormones in my house!) I'm recently divorced and loving it! Aside from being with the teenagers, my favorite thing to do is scrapbook, and I've just recently started to try my hand at card making. I've done several swaps with a group of my friends, but my favorites have been ATC cards.

My favorite music of all time is classic rock, I'm a huge Pink Floyd fan! I will listen to just about anything tho, and I go through musical crushes, currently it's Bruno Mars. And always, Luther. Musical crushes aside and whatever current songs are good, I always go back to my rock station!

James Patterson fan here! I also love Jodi Picoult, her book Sing You Home is my absolute favorite. I'm a Harry Potter fan, and yes, even Twilight...having read both series several times. The Hunger Games series is at the top of my list too. Apparently I like young adult books. I don't read biographies, history, or anything that isn't solely for entertainment purposes only. Except once I did read a book about the symbolism for the DaVinci Code, that was good.

Let's see, the Food Network is always on in my house, it's my background noise! I am addicted to reality shows tho, Survivor, The Amazing Race, The Biggest Loser. I love games shows too and am a whiz at Wheel of Fortune, but that's only because I'm not in a tv studio, surrounded by cameras, other contestants and there's no money at stake. But I do rock that game from my couch!

As I'm doing more and more swaps and one on one trades, I'm thinking that I should update my info a little bit...lol!

I like pina coladas, getting caught in the rain...oh wait ~ WRONG PROFILE...lol. I don't take myself seriously, and try to be as happy as I can be every day. To add to that, I'm pretty easy going, it takes a lot to get me angry or upset. Except on Monday mornings ~ then all bets are off!

I'm obsessed with butterflies and I have them tattoo'd all over my body. They signify change and my life has been all about change recently!

My favorite color is turquoise, I also love a pink and black combo, both pink and black individually, purples and all shades of blue.

I'm a scrapbooker so I hoard paper and scrapbook supplies. Funny thing is, I have so many materials and I hardly ever get anything done. Maybe I'm just a hoarder? In any case, I ummm...collect scrapbook and paper crafting supplies. Also pens, journals, markers ~ any kind of crafting/writing supply. Adult coloring books/pages. Note cards. mini scrapbooks...atc cards, washi tape. Sorry, just listing things as I think of them.

I don't have any pets, landlord won't allow it (landlord is my ex husband...that's a story) but I love all animals and would one day love to have a pug. and a chocolate lab. and a few kittens. maybe a bunny. But no fish!

I have to put in here tho, how much I am loving the fact that I found swap-bot. This site is right up my alley, and I am very happy to be here. And if anyone was going to send me something based on my profile, and you couldn't figure out that to send, just know that I am happy with ANYTHING and I do mean that!

I'm not sure what else to tell you about. I'm sure if I think of things, I'll update as I go along.

05/25/2106 - GRRRRR.....so sad that I have to do this, but do this I must! I was pretty sick with strep throat, and pretty much did nothing but work (yes, I HAD to go to work) and sleep. I neglected my kids, I neglected my swaps...so yeah, I have a bunch of late swaps now. Sure ruined my record...sigh..it was a good run! I have 2 more late swaps to get in the mail tomorrow then I will be caught back up to date. I did contact my partners and let them know, so hopefully the fall out won't be too too too bad! IN any case ~ GRRRRR again! 04/05/2106: To date, I have not sent a swap out late (notice I said to date? Leaving myself margin for error..lol). I try to send early, however that doesn't always happen, but I have gotten all of my swaps out on time. If you don't receive a swap from me, within a reasonable amount of time from when I sent it, please let me know. I would be more than happy to resend. I take pics of 99% of what I've created, so I can always recreate. I mark my swaps sent when they leave my hands, but for the most part I drop all my mail off directly inside the post office or in one of the boxes outside of the post office if it's closed. Or if it's raining...the post office by my house has a box you can drop into from your car. As far as rating swaps go, I rate anything I receive the day I get it. I open them, admire them, then get onto swap-bot! Happy mail is my new favorite time of the day :) Anyway...I do rate all the swaps I receive. And I would never rate a 3 or a 1 without contacting my partner and trying to resolve any issue that there might be. I would just like to ask for the same courtesy from any partner I send to. I do take these swaps seriously, and I know that other people do too and we really all should. Knock on wood that I haven't had an issue yet and I'm hoping that I never do (how's that for having pipe dreams?) (Although, I'm getting a good laugh from some of the forum posts...hmmmm...drama...lmao! Nah, I'm a drama free zone)
