Quilteedee

I'm a 51 year old wife and mom with two children in their 20's. My honey and I are going to be grandparents for the first time this coming June!

I would rather have cake than cookies, chocolate and caramel than hard or sour candies, and hot chocolate before coffee and tea. Breakfast is my FAVORITE meal of the day!

I have been quilting for about 20 years and enjoy making gifts for family. When I'm not sewing, I'm walking my dogs, loving on my kitty, serving in my church, or traveling with my husband.

I'm a fan of clear color palettes. I love blues, aquas, soft greens, pink, berries, navy and black and white text prints. I don't care for Civil War fabrics, any color "muddied" by gray or black, or batiks.

I'm currently crushing on Amy Sinibaldi's new line for Art Gallery fabrics called Paperie. I also like Bonnie and Camille, Fig Tree, Lori Holt of Bee in My Bonnet, Jen Kingwell Designs, and Sweetwater.

I enjoy 70's, 80's, and 90's rock and roll, The Beatles, Elton John, David Bowie, and Christmas music!

I really enjoy reading the Bible and m Book of Mormon. I also enjoy reading Science Fiction/Fantasy novels. I don't have a bunch of time to read as I'd rather be sewing!

Disney movies, Star Wars, Indiana Jones, Sci-fi/Fantasy movies.

Big Bang Theory, Bones, whatever my honey is watching... :)

In addition to quilting, I enjoy English paper piecing, hand-piecing, applique, wool felt ornaments, and embroidery. If I'm not at my sewing machine then, I'm in front of the TV with my honey doing some sort of handwork. Handwork is soooooo portable and great to take in the car!
