Hi! I am 51 years old, mother of 3 grown children. I have two spoiled rotten dogs and I spend my down time working on arts and craft projects. I love beading and jewlery making, I also make scrapbooks, altered books, art journals, and I have made several quilts but not lately. I recently bought a soldering iron and want to learn metal working. I really want to create my own metal work jewlery. Love to hear from someone who can tell me how to get started in metal smithing.

I love to read, enjoy a wide variety of music and movies. I like to read ghost stories, thrillers, anything that will really scare me silly! I like books about crafts, art, poetry, inspirational and encouraging stories, deeply moving stories, fantasy and magical fiction writing also.

I am interested in finding pen pals who still enjoy receiving a handwritten letter sent by snail mail. Oh, I almost forgot I collect thimbles, all kinds...old ones, rare ones, the souveigner type, I have a collection of over 200 so far.
