Things I like

I am a textile artist and button maker from the Highlands of Scotland. I usually work in textiles but have developed a love for paper collage. Favorite Crafts

I enjoy textile art, mixed media, tw/inchies ,collage, , photography, hand embroidery. I enjoy taking part in collaborative art projects.

things I like

I like vintage, old, distressed, abstract, found objects, buttons, driftwood, textures, pattern. handmade, one-off, quirky, wabi-sabi, hand stitching. I like interesting stamps, I always save them to use in future projects. I like paper ephemera with text in languages other than English. I prefer arty postcards rather than photos of your hometown. I would like to know your favourite word or phrase. I LOVE to receive handmade postcards.

things I'm not so keen on

Not keen on cutesy, religion, cartoons, Disney. I'm not keen on multiview photo postcards of places. I prefer art postcards to tourist postcards, but an arty representation of your town would be great.

Comment: Love this one! I am now the happy recipient of another cool face postcard from you across the Atlantic! Thanks Fran! (I have 2 more to go as well...actually 4 since I am doing both the US and Intl version. I am thinking of compiling all the faces into an accordion book after the last one arrives.)

Comment: I absolutely love this postcard. If I could give you 2 hearts I would.... 5 💖 💖. Your face doodle is so colourful and tribal and fun. Thank you so much for making this for me McAnarks. (FYI - the glue didn't hold up particularly well. A corner had lifted and it was easy to peel the rest off. Just letting you know because I like to know if products I use are working well. But the image is in great shape, no damage.) P.S. I also love the dog postage stamp and the Robbie Burns postage stamp. Thanks!

Comment: This was so taped up, I was afraid I'd damage the card inside! Please leave some little space to slide in an opener! Interesting collab so far. Thanks for using washi tape. That did make it a little easier.
Response: I'm sorry you had trouble opening the envelope, I read the comment on your profile and I used washi tape instead of scotch tape, and I left one side untaped.
