Postage to me is the same rate as to any United States address despite the fact that I am currently living in Germany. My husband is in the United States Air Force and sending mail to an APO address is the same as sending to any other US address. I am 28 years old, have one daughter and am trying to go back to school to get a degree in Political Science.

I can be pretty shy when meeting new people, especially if in a large group but once I get to know someone I'm pretty open and laid back. I like to get to know new people but I'm pretty selective about who I call "friend."

I don't watch TV but instead study for class, read a lot, work on various projects (right now I have a scarf, a pair of mittens, some ATC's, a scrapbook, two paintings and a shirt for myself all in various stages of completion), play with my daughter, spend time with my husband, and explore Germany. I never have enough hours in the day to complete all the things I'd like to get done.

Red is my favorite color, followed by jewel tones: purples, blues, magentas, pinks, greens. I also like a bright true orange and browns.

I love fabric. I could spend hours in a fabric store, just running my hands over the different textures and finishes. I have a horribly difficult time choosing a fabric for a project because I want it all!

I have the same problem with yarn. It's all so beautiful and I want to try it all! I am trying to move away from synthetic fibers and work with more wools, cottons and lines. Unfortunately, my selection on base is limited. :(

I also have the same problem with beads. I love beautiful beads, especially glass beads. I once went through a bead catalog and made a wish list valued at over $500...all for one project I had in mind. It remains a wish list.

I love trying new things. I love hanging out at my artist friends' houses and trying out all their cool supplies. Water color crayons are the latest thing I've been introduced to and I can't wait to get some of my own!

I love good music. My playlist includes Johnny Cash, Rammstein, Pink, Evanescence, Massive Attack, Dolly Parton, They Might Be Giants, The Cranberries, The Puppinni Sisters, Linkin Park, System of a Down, Ella Fitzgerald, Mika, Charlotte Church, and classical

I love good books. Captain of Castille by Samuel Shellabarger, Jane Eyre by Charlotte Bronte, The True Confessions of Charlotte Doyle by Avi.

I also like books with pretty pictures. Books on architecture, landscapes, horses, airplanes, trains, oceans, etc.

I also like a good, well researched non-fiction. Square Foot Gardening is one of my favorites as is Spiritual Midwifery by Ina May Gaskin.

I knit, sew, crochet, scrapbook, draw, paint, stencil, bead and pretty much do anything else that will result in something beautiful. Right now my newest passion is drawing, something I've not for over a decade and am thoroughly enjoying picking up again.

We have an APO address, which is the same as any other PO Box in the United States. APO is the city and AE is the state. It takes the same postage as any other US address.

However, sometimes it takes awhile for mail to get to us, sometimes not. I do rate all swaps I receive but sometimes it might take a bit. Thanks!

It feels rude to put this up but there are some things I can't seem to find here in Germany and some I'd just really like, and if someone is wanting to send something REALLY for sure useful, here you go:

~inks...I've read some things that I want to try with inks but am hesitant to purchase more art supplies without trying it out first.

~ Novelty yarns. I love different novelty yarns but I just want a sampling of them all, not just the skein or two I can afford.

~list to be added to as I find more things I can't find...ironically.
